A lot of the homeless population are young people who were abused neglected and part of the foster care system . It failed a lot of children miserably. They have turned to substance abuse as a way to numb their feelings,They have no where to go in some cases .They feel that nobody cares.,It would be nice if the city or county could donate land and organizations could donate supplies and other people in the community could donate their time and expertise in building these small homes. Of course the.occupants would have to put in. Sweat equity and work towards making a better life for themselves. I think the foster care care system should be held accountable for their part in this.these kids were not taught any skills. They need to learn how to be responsible adults. Give them some love and kindness. They didn't ask for the life they were forced to have.
