Give Your Child the Best Possible Education

Target: Parents, Guardians, Grandparents and Relatives
Sponsored by: K12

The true measure of a society is how well it educates its children. Can we really say that we are providing all of our children an education that will allow them to reach their potential, regardless of their circumstances?

The traditional, one-size-fits-all approach used by many educational systems fails to account for different learning styles and can quickly extinguish a love of learning by forcing students to keep pace with their classmates.

Fortunately families are discovering that online learning is the perfect tool to fulfill the promise of education since technology permits lessons and pacing to be tailored to each student.

The Pledge

I pledge to provide the best possible education for the children in my life by:

Creating a life-long love of learning by giving my children access to a high-quality curriculum and contemporary tools that will engage their minds.

Removing artificial barriers to a quality education by acknowledging that each child needs an individualized approach so they can work and learn at the right level for them in each subject.

Finding meaningful ways to get involved in my children's education by finding 21st century tools to educate my 21st century student.

Education has a huge impact on a child's future. If your child isn't happy in school, little by little he or she is paying a price -- compromising his or her full potential and future with an education that doesn't quite fit. Don't let the children in your life fall through the cracks -- take the pledge today!

All our students are different. Lets encourage their individual strengths, rather than try to force them into a one-size-fits-none mold few can achieve.

because not everyone learns the same, its only fair to have programs set up and test in order to be able to guage the learning pace and level of a child and their peers.

My children attend the k12 school. They have grown by leaps and bounds. They have grown to love school again. They do not want to go back to a public school.Since they can have more time on a subject that they have trouble with, and can move ahead on another. Please let the children who need this have this school. Each child can learn at here own pace.

I believe each child should be given the chance to reach their fullest potential.

Different people learn at different rates and with different styles. To accommodate these differences is a challenge, but one of the best gifts we can give.

All children are different. Some do better in large groups, others in small. Some do better with on their own, and some do better being taught as a whole. Some children need a structured environment, while others can have a bit more freedom. All children learn differently and we need to respect that.

I do not have children yet, but I hope to one day. I will give them the best education possible. From an early age they will be taught the truth about the world, not shielded from something that might be considered "inappropriate." They will know the truth about were babies come from whenever they are old enough to ask, and I will not pretend there are magical holiday creatures. My children will be taught truth and compassion.
