Why should you or anyone else sign this petition? For starters, it is the right thing to do. How dare any soldier, 2 or 4 legged be allowed to come home after serving their Country & the people and be allowed to suffer.
While every day there is more and more support for our two legged military men and women, their canine companions used for some of the most dangerous work asked of any canine anywhere are discharged when injured and placed in homes not always their handlers and it is up to whoever takes them to pay for medical treatment from then on. Seriously? For being injured saving in most instances many human lives.
And let us not forget the canines not injured in service, they are picked up by contracted agencies to be in most cases placed in SHELTERS, to be left to the shelters and rescues care and ALL costs fall on whoever takes them in. Why? Our Canine Military are not disposable and should not be allowed to be treated as such. They did their jobs, pay them for it.

Dear Governing body of the United States of America,
We the people demand our Canine Military Members cared for during and after their services to our Country.
For a County who has made Animal Cruelty a felony, they need to see abandoning canines after their services to that country, are no longer needed or they can no longer serve due to injury or age IS abuse and we the people are calling you on it.
Either care for the canines used in every way needed or stop using them. It truly is that simple.
We the People have spoken.
