If the current Administration won't put an end to torture, let's make sure the next one will.
Mock drowning, hypothermia, "outsourcing" torture to other countries... These techniques are not only shameful, they also do not work. Torture is ineffective, it undermines our values, and it hardens hearts and minds against us. Torture is never the answer.

America has lost the trust of every intelligent and aware person in the world through its flagrant crimes against international law, which it two-facedly claims to support. It is in the open now that America is a nation that not only tortures but trains others to torture. Once I thought America had the moral superiority but now I see it was only an empty illusion. Prove me wrong by taking serious, hard-line action against any American government employee who has tortured and every officer or government official who ordered or arranged torture.
