50 million promises - Sign our petition and fight global hunger

Around the world, the devastating effects of conflict and climate change are causing widespread hunger and malnutrition. Nearly 795 million go to bed hungry each night.  In 2015 the UK/British government promised to improve the nutrition of 50 million people by 2020 year.

However unless urgent action is taken the government will fail to reach this target and will break their promise, not only to the British electorate but to 50 million of the world's poorest people.

This is why we're calling on the government to invest now to enable these people to escape from life-threatening malnutrition.
Prime Minister Theresa May: Please raise government investment in global nutrition, in order to meet the Conservative manifesto promise to 50 million of the world's poorest people.

Good nutrition lays the foundations for development. It kickstarts progress in education and health, raises incomes and grows economies.

So please honour your pledge to the British electorate and the developing world, to improve the nutrition of 50 million people who would otherwise go hungry. Invest more in high-impact nutrition programmes now.
