Gay marriage is now legal in all 50 states in the United States. So okay I ain't got no beef with letting grown folks do what grown folks do. But we Christians have rights as far as standing against any all sin according to the First Amendment which gives us freedom of religion. Minister should have the right to marry any couple they see fit to refuse to marry without consequence.
This is not only limited to same sex couples but also to couples in which there is abuse, couples in which in would not be in the best interest of any children, adults, or even animals in their care if they married or even continued to live together, couple in which one or both parties are known criminals (known don't always mean convicted or even arrested), interfaith couples, or any other couple they see fit to not marry to exclude interracial couples simply because they are an interracial couple. This would only apply if they are standing against sin and/or they are acting in the best interest of someone who may be endangered by the union. I am fully in favor of interracial marriage as long as both parties treat each other and others right.
The gay marriage being legalized is a big blow to the Christian community. Gays deserve to have jobs, housing, health care, etc. and again I ain't got no beef with grown folks doing what grown folks do but ministers should not be coerced into marrying gays or anyone else who just should be married because they know God would not pleased with the union.
