Tell George Osborne to Build More Affordable Homes

Our housing market is broken. It works for the well-off but is unaffordable for most of us. Every day it's getting harder for ordinary families to find a home or even keep a roof over their heads.

As Chancellor, George Osborne has the chance to turn this around in his spending review this November. We need him to invest in building 250,000 desperately needed homes a year - including 125,000 social and affordable homes for ordinary people. We also need him to replace any high-value council properties that are being sold off.

Housing was an election priority. Will you sign our petition and tell George Osborne to make it a spending priority too?

If enough of us tell him, we can push him to provide safe, secure and affordable homes for everyone, not just the well-off.
Dear Chancellor Osborne,

Our housing market is broken. It works for the well-off but is unaffordable for most of us. Every day it's getting harder for ordinary families to find a home or even keep a roof over their heads.

As Chancellor, you have the chance to turn this around in your spending review this November. We need you to invest in building 250,000 desperately needed homes a year - including 125,000 social and affordable homes for ordinary people. We also need you to replace all high-value council properties that are sold off.

Housing was an election priority. I urge you to make it a spending priority too.
