Save the ANCC Cats
Dear Mr. Urben,
Please reconsider the plans your country club has to exterminate the resident feral cat colony. The resident cats have been vaccinated and spayed/neutered at your club's expense in the past, and to now decide to exterminate the colony by trapping them then turning them over to facilities where they will be euthanized does not make sense. The cats provide an unseen service to your club by helping to hold down rodent populations. Eradicating the resident colony will only cause other feral cats to take over that territory. The Honorable Representative John P Murtha, a member of your organization for 20 years, also thinks that these actions would be wrong. Please, spare the cats.
