Wal-Mart has repeatedly violated U.S. child labor laws and profited from overseas child labor abuses.
A recent investigation revealed children, some only 11 years old, were making Wal-Mart clothes in a Bangladesh factory. The children report
being routinely slapped and beaten, forced to work 12 to 14 hours a day, often seven days a week, for wages as low as 6 and a half cents an hour.
In the United States, Wal-Mart's own internal audit found 1,371 instances in which minors worked too late at night, during school hours, or too many hours in a day. It also found 60,767 instances of workers missing breaks and 15,705 instances where employees were forced to work and miss meal times.
Despite all of this, Wal-Mart refuses to adopt a zero tolerance policy on child labor! Our children deserve better from Wal-Mart. This holiday season, tell Wal-Mart to adopt a zero tolerance policy on child labor.
We signed the “Tell Wal-Mart: Zero Tolerance on Child Labor” petition!

I can't believe that I would even have to explain why they should adopt this policy, it should be a no brainer!
Children should not be made a slave for manufacturers or anyone, they should be in school learning and live their childhood as a child should!
Shame on Walmart for being a part of such an atrocity! I have shoppped Walmart infrequently in the past, but will discontinue doing this, until I hear that they have stopped this practice of using child labor!

If there can be nothing worse your products are cheap, and now you are violating all these causes, WHEN YOU HAVE THE POWER AND CHANCE TO HELP FIX IT. WAKE UP! AND ADOPT THE 0 TOLERANCE!!!! Good lords. Please help these poor children, they should go on strike, but then YOU'D BE STUPIDLY FOOLISHLY CRUEL TO THEM, MORE OVER AGAIN! DISPICABLE!

It's bad enough that Wal-Mart DEMANDS prices that they will pay for products, which forces U.S. Companies to go overseas, to poorer Countries. But now they're allowing children to be used for labor? Oh come on! How far is Wal-Mart going to go? I tell you how far I'm willing to go, an extra 30 miles to another town, one that has more stores then just WAL-MART. So I don't "have" to shop there!

I do not and will not shop at Wal-Mart. I have no reason to believe that anything good comes from Wal-Mart with the vast destruction they cause to people's lives, the environment, and anything else that seems to get in their way. I have been boycotting Wal-Mart for years because of all the injustices and despicable business practices they use. Stop using child labor. Stop destroying people's lives. End your greed and think about the world around you. If Wal-Mart cared half as much for anything beyond making money for themselves, the world would be a better place.

I am not going to buy anything produced by children who were forced to work!! That means I am not buying from you until you stop supporting this.
