Get the maximum sentence for the woman who starved Zack

Please help get the maximum sentence for the woman who starved a 2 year old Great Dane Zack.In late November, 2010 police investigated the house of Farmingdale NY woman Rose Neira,30,  due to numerous calls from neighbors on animal cruelty. Upon arrival, police noticed a severely emaciated great dane named Zack. The dog had protruding bones and his spine was sticking out of his back. The dog was brought to Oyster Bay Animal Hospital and despite round the clock surgery and treatments, the dog died 10 days later. This woman said she kept him in the kitchen and only let him out once per night.
Please help us get the maximum sentence for this woman, this court case has already been delayed once before and we cannot let this happen again.

Dear Ms. Rice,
We the undersigned request the maximum allowable sentence for Rose Neira due to the blatant abuse and murder of Zack. We request on Zack's behalf that the person be held accountable for what she did, and pay to the fullest extent.
This type of abuse should not be shown as accepted by only giving her a slap on the wrist. Our animals rely on us for the basic love and care we all need and want.  This poor dog did not deserve what he went through and i cannot immagine a beautiful breed like this, standing in that lonely kitchen of hers, crying for food, water, and even for basics like being let out to go to the bathroom. This poor dog, had its life cut drastically short by a torturous ending.
A great dane should be 125-150 pounds, this poor dog was found at 82 pounds! Such a majestic breed does not deserve to die in vain.
Please, on behalf of Zack, make sure you oversee the justice for him and make sure his killer, that was supposed to be his caregiver, be brought to justice.
