For example, why should Congresspeople vote themselves pay increases along with many perks when many seniors are below the poverty level and when our military live in substandard housing? There have also been budget expenditures on the mating of grasshoppers, $250 toilets for the military, and $250 haircuts. More examples of government waste can be found at the website http://www.cagw.org We the people demand a complete audit of government expenditures by an independent firm and elimination of all wasteful spending. The savings can be used to pay down the debt, help seniors, and improve barracks.
