Tell Senate Republicans - Reject the AHCA!

Earlier this month, House Republicans passed a bill that would kick 24 million of our most vulnerable people off their health insurance. Without a single Democratic vote, the Republicans took one step closer to repealing the Affordable Care Act and returning us to a time when Americans could be denied insurance for pre-existing conditions, women were charged higher rates, and quality health insurance was a luxury for the few—all while the wealthiest are handed a $600 billion tax cut.

We can’t afford to go back.

If Virginians with pre-existing conditions are denied insurance or charged astronomical rates, we will all suffer. We can’t build a Virginia with economic security and opportunity for all if our neighbors are terrified of getting sick. Virginians buried in medical bills won’t be free to start small businesses, work hard, and create jobs.

Access to affordable, high-quality healthcare is a right, not a privilege. It’s also good for the economy. We cannot stand idly by and let the Senate pass this moral and fiscal travesty.
