The ground-breaking report on global warming just released by the White House reaches an unassailable conclusion: We must take quick, definitive action to curb greenhouse gas emissions and to protect the people, communities and ecosystems at risk from global warming.
The American Clean Energy and Security Act will do just that. It will require polluters to pay for the costs of dumping carbon pollution into the air. It will reduce greenhouse gases. It will create a whole new clean energy industry and the businesses and jobs to support it. The bill also recognizes the crucial importance of safeguarding wildlife and other natural resources from the impacts of climate change and the need for a dedicated funding stream to support this work.
Fortunately, the House will soon be voting on the American Clean Energy and Security Act. There's no more time to delay. Tell your Representative to vote for this vital legislation today!

50% of all mammal species are thought to become extinct due to global warming, and already a handful of species have been reported extinct due to global warming. I beg of you to please take action in recognition of these species for the planet's well-being.

Please try to set your goal as the benefit of many, instead of profit for few. Nature and environment know no borders. By helping set rules to protect them the whole world will have an example to look up to, let the USA be once more a visionary country for the rest of the nations.

I've worked as a letter carrier for the past 13 yrs. and each year I've seen such a drastic change in our environment. If the ones sitting behind their desks would take a "summer job" long enough to see what it's like each summer in the extreme heat, then maybe they would see the difference, too! It is getting worse each year! Please help before it's too late!
