Demand Equal Employment Protections in the workplace nationally for all people. Demand to introduce and pass ENDA NOW!

There is a severe lack of Employment Protections nationally in the US for the intentional deficit of language in laws to protect Transgender and Homosexual people. By signing, you would be telling US Politicians that We The People WANT to be inclusive of supporting those whom have been left out thus leaving them to defend themselves. Too many, politicians in the local State Houses that have not passed such protections say that it is not needed, that they are somehow PROUD in some form or another that they do not have such laws on their books. This would shut them up and say the populous wants such protections, either friends, family, or even the people who need the laws for fear of their own employment opportunities or lack thereof. Lets tell lawmakers that we need the Employment Non-Discrimination Act.

English (en): LGBT employment discrimination law in the United States Sexual orientation and gender identity: all employment Sexual orientation with anti–employment discrimination ordinance and gender identity solely in public employment Sexual orientation: all employment Sexual orientation and gender identity: state employment Sexual orientation: state employment No state-level protection for LGBT employees

Sexual orientation and gender identity: all employment

Sexual orientation with anti–employment discrimination ordinance and gender identity solely in public employment

  Sexual orientation: all employment

Sexual orientation and gender identity: state employment

  Sexual orientation: state employment

No state-level protection for LGBT employees

WE NEED ENDA NOW!

Language needed: Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity and Gender Expression

Definitions:
Sex - The anatomical sex assigned to one at birth.
Gender - The gender one chooses to be regardless of anatomical sex, whether it to BE the gender congruent with anatomical sex or to choose to be a gender altogether different. Not to be synonymous with Sex.

Sexual Orientation - an enduring pattern of romantic or sexual attraction (or a combination of these) to persons of the opposite sex or gender, the same sex or gender, or to both sexes or more than one gender.

Gender Identity - Of which a gender to one Identifies oneself.
Note: This is the simplest definition I could write.
Ref: (Warning: Wall of text) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gender_identity

Gender Expression* - The manner of which a person chooses to dress, act, or socialize within society. Not to be confused with Gender Identity, because that is merely a social identity or legal term to which one assigns oneself. Gender Expression can be all inclusive, for example: it can include how a Gay Man may choose to express himself, or the way a Gay Woman (i.e. Lesbian) chooses to dress and maintain herself.

*Generally this is a Protections Term which has yet to be widely used, and was designed as an all inclusive way to protect Transgender people, with outreaching effects to people who may happen to fall under the Sexual Orientation Protections Term.
