There has been a large increase in noise and air pollution over Regent Park and other surrounding areas due to the opening of the new runway and diverted flight patterns over the area. CLT needs to make improvements to the flight patterns so that residential areas are not affected.

We the undersigned are concerned and/or experiencing negative effects from the increased airline traffic. We encourage Charlotte Douglas International Airport to take necessary actions to reduce the harmful effects of airline traffic on the surrounding population. Airplanes flying over our homes, schools and places of worship are not only interrupting our peace and quiet but they are also dumping large amounts of harmful pollution onto our homes, gardens, pets and children! You can make a positive difference by simply changing flight patterns to avoid residential and community areas!
