The Department of Human Services - Child Protective Services shall be required to publicly post the entire list of Parent/Guardian Rights for public viewing by its clients at all times.

The intake social worker stated that the person did not have much information other that what was stated earlier. I thought the charge was ridiculous. My husband told me that he had done the yard work and asked my daughter to pick up the pile that was left in the yard. He further stated that it started to rain shortly after he told her to pick up the pile, and a small one at that. He said he never makes her clean up after the puppy because we also have a 17 year old daughter and he doesn't make her do it either! After the visit by the social worker,my husband and the 8 year old left the house. My 17 year old said she came outside and the lady across the street in an adjacent house, was staring at her when she came out to get the mail. My daughter said she had been looking out the window and this neighbor was staring continuously at our house. When I asked her to describe her, it sounds like the same lady that knocked on my door asking to use a ladder in by garage to get into her house. What's funny is the ladder is in the back of the garage. When I asked her how she knew it was back there, she said "I saw it looking from my top porch across the street". I thought "the nerve of this woman". Furthermore, the social worker disclosed to us that the person that made the call was actually looking out the window at the time my husband and daughter were out there at 10:00 am in the morning. The point is that parents need legal recourse by false accusers especially. I know social services has a job to do and they can'tdo it if they are spending time on false claims of child abuse. Anyone making the charge, should be man or woman enough to leave a name and verifiable identity information so they can be held accountable from malicious or false accusations. How can we protect ourselves as parents! My husband is in heathcare and can't have abuse charges against him period. Again, the law needs to stop the madness by letting reports go unpunished when they are proven to be false. |

| 611 | 2:23 pm PDT, Jul 8 | Anonymous | North Carolina | my children were taken away almost 2 years ago and now the new social worker that i have and i dont get along too much and she told my therapist that she was going to ask the judge to terminate my parental rights and i dont know if she can do that because i still go to therapies and i pay child support and im still doing all that they have told me to do im a young mother and i know and i accept that i wasnt being a good mother back then but i have taking both individual and anger management class and safe child classes and i pay child support and everithing and now my social worker is in contac with my dauthers family in mexico and she calls them all the time so they would fax them some papers and she tells them that they have to come because i m gonna get deported sooner or later and that she wants them to stay with family and that is not fair to me she s being descrimating, and that is not fair, and then she calls the foster mom and tells her stuff to make her feel bad because she is american and my dauthers are hispanic and they have to be with a latino family, and she even tells her that i dont want my daughters and that i want to send them with their dad in mexico wich is a lie because he dont even want them he says that he is not ready to handle 2 kids plus he still does drugs and next month he s goin back to rehab now i dont know what to do cause i want my daugthers back into my life and i dont wanna lose my rights another thing the new social worker dont even want my family to go to the visits anymore she dont let them see my girls and my other social worker would let my family see the can she do that?? i have lots of questions | |

Our kids have been taken away based on lies, misinterpretations of the law, misrepresentations in the courtroom and misleading medial hypothesis by Child Protective Team nurses. I have called every agency involved, spoke with all supervisors and to no avail. We decided not to take the case plan, but to go to trial to dispute the charges. It is one week before trial and now DCF wants to drop that case and go after my parental rights. I believe they knew they would not win and so they are threatening me with permanently taking away my children. How can they get away with this? They are the terrorists within the confines of our government. All who see and write on this site need to make one voice and address not only our states capital but the nations as well. Our families are being destroyed and the sanctity of the constitution of these United States have been tested and the statutes failed. Where are our legislators who say they will protect us? Where are the State's Attorney's who say they will uphold the laws? No where... DCF is a gangster organization that joins together with other agencies and through collusion kidnap our kids. | 597 | 1:53 pm PDT, Apr 19 | Amanda Mongold | Craigsville | Virginia | I know someone who had her children taken away because someone reported them sleeping in their car (which happened 1 time because they were locked out) they were currently staying at my house when the police and child services showed up and took all 4 children away... these kids were like family to me and it tore me up inside... the mom got a job, a place to live, all that good stuff and then they said she couldn't have them back because she had a boyfriend so they took her rights completely away from the 9 month old baby and she was adopted out and the 3 oldest ones were left in foster care til they turned 18.. Today only one is still in foster care and the baby is still with another family. there was a time last year when the oldest boys foster parents didn't want him so they took him to a shelter in Richmond where he stayed for like a month during that time they told his mom she could get him back ...2 days before he was supposed to come home, they said he couldnt because the oldest girl was getting emancipated in a month and it would be too much work to turn the built in porch into a bedroom..well how can she get the older kids back but lose her rights to the baby?...something isnt right with that.. also, my mom did foster care when i was younger and the last kid we had was taken from his mom cuz she dropped him on his head and fractured his skull when he was 4 months old because she was HIGH on drugs... we had the kid long before social services got involved with the case then the courts kept telling us we were going to get him they were just waiting on the father to sign over his rights, at the last hearing...(after mom went and bought all the baby's needs) his dad told my mom he was going to sign his rights over that day... when they got in there the judge dropped my moms case because we wasn't FAMILY but to the baby...we were all he knew as family.. it still brings tears to my eyes when i think about it..since then I've heard he was placed back with his mother whom dropped him on his head....but i dont know how true that is.... but how can they just take someone's kids away because they "heard" they were sleeping in a car but yet they were in a house when they picked them up and then give a drug addict who fractured her sons skull back her kids..what is wrong with the system today...seriously?! Anywayz I'm signing this because I am now a mother of a 6 month old baby girl and I know I have rights and I WILL find them and even tho social services hasn't come knocking at my door yet...(and they have no reason too) I think EVERYONE should know their rights because we do have rights... I was even told that social workers are NOT authorized to come in and take your child because they don't have the experience or knowledge or something like that....but i'm researching that now to find out the facts...but i was shocked when someone said they researched it and found that u dont have to turn ur child over to them. |

I lost my job and was bouncing in and out of treatment programs. DYFUS was all over my every move and wanting to terminate my rights anyway. The plan was for my wife and I to terminate our rights and my mother-in-law would step in and adopt our daughter. When the case was closed my wife and I would be clean and on our feet again. At that point we would have our daughter back. I kept relapsing and getting to trouble with the law for the next 18 months. I had a falling out with my wife and mother-in-law. Ten months ago I landed in jail and was sentenced to a 6 month substance abuse treatment program. I have completed the program but my mother in law refuses to let me see my daughter. I still go to meetings and see a psycologist once a week. My sobriety will stay number one priority with regaining custody of my child a close second. I/m not sure if I have any legal ground at all given my past and present situation but I have to try. My daughter deserves to know I still live and care for her and want her back in my life. |

I felt as though no ones there to help the child or even help me during the whole process. From the start i felt that they only wanted to permanently terminate my rights all together. My lawyer was not on my side. For the first couple of years with my child being out-of-home care, I was involved in his live on a daily basis, I talked, seen and even was buying groceries for the home he was placed in, but in the last year slowly I was pushed out of his life, I am unable to speak, see or even go over to the house to visit any more. I feel as though, that the family he is with is causing him more harm then good. The persons that he lives with are prescription and street drug addicts. I was told also since I signed over temporary rights there is nothing I can do or say to fight for visitation rights with him. I was told that my visitations will not stop, and I would still be able to be a part of his life. That was a lie, to get me to temporary sign him over. The caseworker that was assigned to the case, informed me that also if I do not sign the papers to temporary sign him over to his Paternal Grandma, I will lose all my parental rights to both of my children. In the time frame of the removal of him, I was pregnant with my youngest son. They was not concern with his(my youngest)wellbeing with living with me. I didn't understand how can I be unfit to care for one child but fit to care for another. How can this be. What factors was they going on to constitute me being unfit for one and not the other. Is this right or is this double-standards? What is wrong with the DFS system to do such things, and also the courts? I am working to get my oldest son back into my care permanently, but I am unsure what my rights are now, since it has been two years since I temporarily signed him over. When will they redefine the laws or guidelines to justify the outcome, of things that don't make no sense. |

They even tried to take my two daughter away, they did not have any marks on them but they tried to take them away. The teacher did not report marks on his arms and legs until 1 pm and my son been at school since 9am. If my son had marks on him since he got to school why she did not report it until 1 pm. Now they are trying to rail road me in court. His teacher put the marks on him and then call the police and tried to act like I did it. I started coming by the school because my son came home with a scratch above his eye. She has been pushing the issue about him being on medication for the past week. Also in the past week she started compliant about his behavior. |

We had and continue to have full custody of my husbands children ages 8 and 11.. My 12yo told the judge my boyfriend (at the time now husband) beat the children every day. Soc. Serv. was called by the judge to remove my husbands children but found no basis for removal. The children were turned over ~temporary custody~ to my x husband and I was ordered ~no contact~. I have not spoke to or seen my children since July 20, 2007. After changing lawyers, Im seeking another court date. The judge had NO physical evidence of any type of abuse, did not hear my testamony, or my wittnesses, the entire process of my `loosing` my children took all of 10 min. How this could happen in America is beyond me. I know God will work this all out and God will use this for good in the future but for now it hurts, I love God but I miss my children. Something has to be changed. The Albright/Albright case isnt doing the job. Find me a way to protest, to speak out, to make a difference then I will be there. I feel like my back is to the wall as Im sure many of you feel the same. This has to be STOPPED! My X did not want my children full time, his new wife wanted me out of the picture. I even have her admiting that to me on the phone but to this date, no one is even willing to hear it. I keep being told..` the system will take its course and get to the truth` that is word for word what my x lawyer, the childrens lawyer and the DHS has told me. The first lawyer was appointed to me, and in the 6 mons. of being appointed to me, I spoke with him only 3 times. The day of my hearing, I spoke with the attorney, and after only 20 mins in court, he asked for a recess, and told me that I needed to make amends with my mother. I argued with him for 20 mins in the hallway. He said the judge that was hearing my case, didn't really care if there were other children involved, she would terminate anyway, and I would never be able to see my daughter. But if I agreed, then I would be able to have visitation. The second lawyer I had to retain. He went before the same judge who terminated my rights, twice, and was denied both times. But if I paid him another $4000, he would help with the adoption. My mother adopted my daughter 30 days after my rights were terminated. She also spent alot of time with my daughters attorney, and she pretty much worked for my mother, and not my daughter. Since I live in Missouri, my mother lives in Tennessee, my daughter's attorney told me that I had to follow Tennessee rules, laws, and regulations pertaining to my case. Since I was not a resident of Tennessee, but a resident of Misouri, there was only so much I could follow, especially since my youngest child's father is a resident of Missouri. I also had to follow my states laws, especially since in my divorce papers, it specifically states that no one under any circumstances is to say anything negative about youngests dad, my oldests attorney kept calling him names in front of my daughter. There should be laws that help protect parents who live out of state as I did, because the psychiatrist that my oldest had to go and talk to, said it would be in the best interest of my daughter to come home and live with me and her sister. That never came out, and all three attorneys had that paper stating all that. |

In Fremont County, CO where I live, there is NO oath taken in family court (a rumored to be lesbian judge presides over this courtroom too!). We the people of the United States, in order to establish justice, prevent negligence and ignorance and save time and taxpayer's money, unanimously request that the Department of Social Services in every state of the Union publicly post ALL the legal rights of parents/guardians as pertains to them and their children who find themselves clients of Child Protective Services.
