Petition to campaign against the further cuts of £23 million to the budget of West Midlands Police

  • by: Alan East
  • recipient: West Midlands Police and Crime Commission
We the undersigned, express our profound concern that it took over 20 minutes for West Midlands Police Officers to attend an armed robbery in progress at Earlsdon Post Office (19th December 2014) and call upon the West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner to investigate this delay and ensure he campaigns for proper funding to deal with such emergencies. This is more pertinent because In December 2014 the Conservative led government announced that there would be a further cut in funding to West Midlands Police of £23 million. We want to campaign against these cuts which will affect policing in local areas.
