Don't Let Homophobic Hate Group Spread Their "Values"!

The D.C. Values Voter Summit promises to "champion traditional values." So it's really no surprise that the sponsors include The Family Research Council and the American Family Association, both of whom routinely demonize and pervert GLBT and other minority Americans by spreading false and damaging propaganda.

Some of the offenses committed by these hate groups include linking homosexuality to the Holocaust and pedophilia. Group leaders have routinely stated that certain Americans don't deserve first amendment rights.

Many groups -- including GLAAD and the HRC -- have sent out formal letters asking invited speakers to deny the FRC and AFA another opportunity to endorse anti-GLBT sentiment and defame Americans.

Paul Ryan and Eric Cantor are among the speakers invited. Convincing them to decline could help de-legitimize these hate groups.

Urge the speakers to decline their invitations, stand on the side of democracy, and reject the hate-fueled Values Voters Summit!
Dear Rep. Paul Ryan, House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, and other Values Voter Summit speakers,

The Values Voter Summit in Washington D.C. Sept. 16th - 17th is sponsored by hate groups. The Family Research Council and American Family Association have defamed many minority groups and claim these people do not deserve the first amendment rights afforded to all Americans.

Regardless of your personal beliefs, we urge you to see these groups for what they are-- hate gorups-- and turn down your invitations to speak so as not to endorse their anti-American and damaging propaganda.

Sincerely,
