For one third of the cost of what was spent thus far during the american occupation of Iraq, the u.s. government could have easily managed, for example, all the problems and monetary shortages associated with “Social Security” and secured the retirement program for at least 75 years - with a millions left over for other projects. The federal government is now spending over $10 billion a month or $120 billion dollars each year that they are allowed to occupy the tiny country of Iraq.
Whereas, the United States government has never “officially ‘declared’ war” upon the tiny nation of Iraq. Many believe this was a design so military officials could employ vengeful illegal detainment and torture against and upon Arab and Persian citizenry in revenge response to the September 2001 attacks on the Pentagon and World Trade Center - allegedly carried out by “Al Qaeda/Osama Bin Laden”, and
Whereas, although Iraq and their president, Saddam Hussein, had absolutely nothing to do with the “twin towers, or Al Qaeda/Bin Laden”, a quest by big-oil-controlled government officials led by vice president Dick Cheney and president George Bush created a media hype and frenzy of propaganda which led, ultimately, to the wrongful invasion and occupation of Iraq and Iraqi oil fields. This invasion remains in honor of Exxon Mobil and British Petroleum-type oil companies. Since the u.s./britain invasion and occupation of Iraq, millions of barrels of oil has been secretly spirited from Iraq oil wells, as the u.s. government-controlled media is restricted from covering oil field activities, and
Whereas, no u.s. political party speaks out against the ongoing occupation and genocide in Iraq, as the “democrats” claim the troops need more armor, while the “republicans” claim the troops need more time to “finish the job.” But the “republocrats” are winning the oil (while Americans who support these parties pay the price for the free oil at the pumps), and
Whereas, during the early morning hours each night, u.s. troops invade and ‘terrorize’ the homes of Iraqi citizens, rounding up any able-bodied adult males and transporting (kidnapping) them to prisons while Iraqi citizens have become impoverished and without the basics of food, water, and clothing due to u.s./british occupation.
Therefore, we demand government officials such as Cheney, Bush, Rumsfeld, Powell, and Rice be charged and held responsible for genocide and war crimes they have and are committing against the citizens of Iraq, which include the following; “Crimes Against Peace, War Crimes, Crimes Against Humanity and Other Criminal Acts and High Crimes in Violation of the Charter of the United Nations, International Law, the Constitution of the United States and Laws made in Pursuance thereof”, and We demand that a “War Crimes Tribunal” be held and charges immediately brought against u.s. government officials for this wrongful invasion and occupation of the innocent nation of Iraq and for the ongoing theft of their oil. http://viewfromredroad.blogspot.com/By signing, you accept Care2's Terms of Service.
