For the past two years as confirmed in the Department for Work & Pensions (DWP) Annual Account Reports 2012/13 (Page 21) & 2013/14 (Page 160) the UK Government have put taxpayers money at serious risk by allowing over 90% of DWP off payroll contractors who have refused to provide income tax assurances on their DWP salary to remain in post contrary to HM Treasury Policy, Tax Arrangements of Public Appointees, Para 9 which states “that their contracts should be terminated for failing to provide income tax assurances” who have also been referred for investigation for Income Tax Evasion by the DWP to HMRC.
Every minute the aforementioned off payroll contractors remain in post is a serious risk to taxpayers money as these contractors are now deemed vulnerable to bribery & further acts of fraud so I have now decided that it is in the public interest to submit this petition.
I have raised this issue with the DWP Select Committee & the Treasury Select Committee who have refused to take any action which is gross negligence and a serious failure in their moral & legal obligation to protect taxpayers money which is morally indefensible.
