In October 2010, Madeleine Madden, a 13-year-old Indigenous girl, addressed Australia about closing the disparity gap between Indigenous and non-Indigenous citizens in one generation. People heeded Maddy's call to action: They spread the message on Twitter and raised the issue in Parliament.
The message was clear: Australians want to end indigenous disparity in this generation.
