No governmental representation at the Beijing Olympics

We the undersigned call upon the elected goverment of Great Britain, not to attend the Beijing Olympic Games.
We are concerned that any representation may be viewed as tacit approval of China and its Government. China has a long, bloody and continuing human rights violation record which we as civilised people must not be seen to condone,added to this are many other issues which make any governmental appearance at these games an anathema to the will of all civilised people and the stated goals and policies of this government itself.
To whit;
The reppression of the human rights of the Chinese people.
The repression of the religious beliefs of the Tibetan people.
The use of child and slave labour in the Chinese economic chain.
The continuing allowal of the killing of endangered species .
The continuing trade in endangered species and their body parts.
The use of inhumane slaughtering methods of animals for the fur and meat trades.
The continuing mixed market practices which have led to the spread of diseases such as S.A.R.s and Bird Flu.
The continuing unsafe environmental pollution by Chinese production facilities.
 We the people demand that Gordon Brown does not attend these games and give spurious legitamacy to the regime in China, at a time when he and his government are enforcing laws on the people of Great Britain which directly oppose the said practices being used in china. This would be Hypocrasy of the highest order and make him, the government and the people of Great Britain the laughing stock of the world.
