I'm disgusted also by President Bush who wants to push through a guestworker program which is just an amnesty to do "jobs American's won't do" I don't know of any American who won't work to support their family, even on a minium wage job, and most of the time they have to work at least 2 to 3 jobs to make it. It's shameful that Bush keeps saying this, where is his basis for this? I want super tough immigrations laws. |

If you want higher wages maybe you should look at what management makes where you work inclueding stock opions and all those nice things they get with it while you don't make enough to suport you own family. My boss makes about half a million a year. our comapany isn't that big just one building but he doesn't pay his help he just pockets the profits along with the stock holders. The driver of the vehicle was driving without a valid license and no insurance. She borrowed a vehicle that was not properly insured or registered. Neither party carry insurance. The police opted not to press charges "because they are in this country illegally and didn't understand American law. In Mexico a person can be hit and the victim is considered to be in the wrong place at the wrong time." Officer Jeffrey McDaniels Portland Police. My daughter was hit riding her bike and left laying in the street. A bystander told the driver to wait while he called the police, this is when the driver took off in her white ford explorer. The bystander got the license plate number. My daughter sustained a number of injuries which still require treatment. She is very traumatized by this whole incident. Just because a person is here illegally is no reason to not prosecute for breaking the law. If I were to run someone down then leave the scene without offering help I would be in serious trouble. The driver of the Ford Explorer should have faced some type of accountability. |

Sponsor the Continental Immigration Bill
Dear Senators and Other Members of Congress,
It is not fair to the American people to allow illegal immigrants to over run our country. It is not fair to punish the people who break the law and allow corporations to break the law. The corporations that are breaking the immigration laws are making victims of all working Americans, inflicting pain and suffering, loss of home and family, illness, and even death in some cases. Are these corporations going to be held responsible for the consequences of their violation of the law?
Americans must have jobs to keep America functioning, outsourcing of American jobs must cease.
If we are going to allow immigration then we must have immigration laws that do not exploit immigrates otherwise, our values are no more than those of China and other third world countries that work people in sweat shops with poverty wages. America is better than this.
It is time ladies and gentlemen of Congress for you to represent the people who placed their trust in you, represent America, to sponsor and vote on the Continental Immigration Act of 2006, secure our Borders and get immigration under control and enforce laws to prevent the hiring of illegal immigrants. Stop the enticement that makes criminals out of immigrants. They won't come here illegally, if they can't work illegally.
The Continental Immigration Bill will enforce corporate responsibility in the hiring of illegal immigrants with fines, incarnation, and loss of business licenses. It will secure the northern and southern borders in cooperation with the adjoining nations. It will establish a system of documentation, checks and balances and privileges for immigration. It will establish burden and cost reimbursement to the ajoining countries in the processing and punishment of illegal immigrants and smugglers. It will supersede all outsourcing bills and will put limits on outsourcing of American jobs.
