A large part of children in the custody of CPS end up put on meds to make to take their energy do to foster parents not wanting to put up with how active the child is. Why Dr. are going along with this practice is one I dont know. | pulling families apart Im not sure of but I do know of a case of reports having been made on a child that was being abused and not sent to school. The reports were were never properly followed up the child was 11 today she is 20 at the age of 19 she managed to escape with scars all over her from being chained up so she couldnt get away | most people dont know they do have some rights when their child is in cps custody but the case workers try to prevent you from using those rights. I paid over 14,000 dollars to a private attorney. After months of preparation for a trial against the state and getting ready to file a motion for the immediate return of my 3 children informed me that cps had made it financially in his best interest to not represent me or my children.He was apologetic and even sent me a letter. not that that could ever undo the horrific ordeal on my family of being permanently severed from eachother. and I am sure whatever that money bought also bought him nightmares, if he has any concious at all. | My sons came up with heinous accusations after being in Foster care for almost a year. The accusations were not against me or their father, and I am curious if the sicko f.p did this. not that I'm allowed to protect my sons. since they have been in foster care they asked me really weird questions wich reminded me of the phychological warfare cps inflicted on me as a child. and yes it was warfare, including brainwashing,and attempts to use corporal punishment if i refused to repeat the lies i was told to tell the judge. that was when i was 6. my siblings remember it all too clearly and the scars never seem to fade.........They too have a horrific tale about our chilhoods.the point is noone allows it, we just are not given the chance to protect them without being called criminal or kidnappers of our own familys. | the rich get richer and the working or needier classes always pay the price dont you know? this is the only country in the world to have atomically bombed someone. Because I lived in low income housing and was on welfare, she found me guilty. She did not even check his background or she would have found out that he had NEVER missed 1 medical appt since birth (when I had him). She just assumed that because I was poor, I was a bad mom | She knew I couldn't afford an attorney. Legal aid doesn't do things like that. I finally found an attorney and on the day we were to go to court, child welfare closed the case due to insufficient evidence. By then the damage was done. My neighbors, his school, my family..everyone to this day, thinks I am guilty | My son was in a hospital. They went to that hospital and interviewed him without allowing me to be present. By the time they got thru "talking" with him, he didn't want to see me. They had him convinced that I was a mean mom and I was hurting him. | I don't know why we pay CPS to protect our kids. I know kids now who are being abused but because they have money, CPS won't get involved. I know a boy who was sexually, physically, and verbally abused for over a year and child welfare investigated found the abuser guilty and then closed the case..nothing was ever done because they "appeared" to be good parents and they were able to financially care for the kids. That is so sick. | Parent's have no rights? When they can go to schools, hospitals, neighbors, etc. talk to anyone about us/kids without us knowing..they can just come in and remove the kids without just cause and no matter what the parents do (parenting classes, etc) they cannot get the kids back. best interest of the kids. that is such bull. They think they are God and can decide who is and isn't a good parent based on "income" without any type of proof or backup or anything. This needs to be changed. |

YOU WOULD BE SUPPRISED THE DIRT YOU CAN DIG UP ON THEM EVEN THE JUDGE. | most private attorneys are out of the same area you go to court in. These lawyers see the same judges and county council everyday. they surly dont wish to get on there bad side.attorneys and county council offten negociate deals for the parents. EVEN IF YOUR ATTORNEY TELLS YOU ITS BEST FOR YOU . REALLY THINK ABOUT IT,IT MAY BE BEST FOR HIM OR HER.THIS USUALLY PROLONGS THE CASE. YOUR KID IS GONE LONGER AND THE ATTORNEY MAKES MORE MONEY. this is all about the MONEY they dont have the love for these children. I have have phycological ties with my granddaughter and children. I know what they want, when they want it,what they need, how they fell. by looking at them. thats love and a parent that is always concerned. these kids need commitment. | these people think that they are the law,and make you think what they want you to think. court appointed attorneys for the juvenile court are still learning, they dont have the defense most private attorneys have. (KNOWLEDGE)dont get me wrong private attorneys can and will try to rip you off.when people excerise there rights CPS finds ways to lie about you. when your social worker calls you on the phone , they just are looking for more evidence to keep your child, when the phone calls stop, they have want to keep your child, and to exclude you, they dont like any citizen that knows there rights. SO JUST QUITE, AND PLAY THERE GAME, USE THE TERMINOLOGY THAT THEY USE IN THERE REPORTS,TO YOUR DEFENSE, LIKE, IT APPEARS TO BE, OR IF POSSIBLE, OR ARE YOU AWARE, OR IT CLAIMS TO BE, OR IT SHOULD BE NOTED, OR I WOULD LIKE TO INFORM YOU. use there terminology if you go to trial. or use it to even write a letter, copy it. certified mail. and send it. | Because thats are GOVERNMENT. THE ONE THING THAT NEEDS TO CHANGE, IS IF YOU HAVE A PAST HISTORY OVER 5 YEARS AGO THEY SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO USE IT AGAINST YOU. AND THE SAME SOCIAL WORKER YOU MAY HAVE HAD IN 1994,SHOULD NOT BE ASSIGNED TO YOUR CASE IN 2003. PER SE. CPS GETS STATE FUNDING AND FEDERAL MONEY .IF A RELATIVE HAS THE CHILD, CPS ONLY GETS STATE FUNDS, AND THE RELATIVE GETS THE FEDERAL FUNDS. IF THEY DONT PLACE THE CHILD WITH THE RELATIVE, THEY GET FEDERAL AND STATE FUNDS, THEY SURLY DONT SPEND IT ON YOUR CHILD. AND IF THEY DONT LIKE YOU BECAUSE YOU DRESS FUNNY,YOU ARE DEFINITLY NOT GOING TO GET THE KID PLACED WITH YOU,THEY GET ALOT OF DOE FOR ADOPTING AS WELL. WHO EVER GAVE THESE PEOPLE THE POWER TO JUDGE YOU ON HOW YOU RAISE YOUR CHILDREN SHOULD GO THREW WHAT WE GO THREW. HELL! I DO NO THERE IS ALOT OF KIDS THAT REALLY NEED FOSTER CARE IF YOU HAVE A CHILD AND GET THEM TAKEN FROM YOU PERMATLEY. UNDER THE AGE OF THREE,AND DID NOT FOLLOW THE SERVICES THEY PROVIDED FOR YOU. My daughter said that it happened in the blue house we lived in, well guess what we never lived in a blue house ours was grey. But of course they say oh well a six year old child can't tell the difference between grey and blue. MINE CAN!!
