Global climate disruption is the single greatest threat that our generation and future generations will face and we must act today in order to have a livable planet.
We and the rest of the world's youth must demand that world leaders take immediate action to address this challenge through ambitious policies founded in the most current science and guided by principles of equity and justice.
- We want to live in a world that is free of fossil fuels and on a path toward 100% clean energy by 2030 to mitigate climate disruption.
- We want to live in a world that is just and equitable for all, regardless of class, race, gender, creed, sexuality, ability, or nationality.
- We want the needs of those communities most impacted by global climate disruption to be reflected in climate solutions and given resources to combat and adapt to a changing climate as we rapidly work towards 100% clean energy.
In order to secure a healthy planet for our future, the time to act is now. We must raise our voices together today and tell world leaders that global climate disruption is the single greatest threat our generation faces and that we need immediate action.
I demand that world leaders take immediate action to address climate disruption through ambitious policies founded in the most current science and guided by principles of equity and justice in order to protect my future.
