Are You a Gun Sense Voter?

If our elected officials won't change our gun laws, it’s time to change our elected officials. That's the very simple premise behind the Gun Sense Voter initiative.

Gun sense is the simple idea that we can do much more to keep our families and communities safe from gun violence. It'’s the belief that we, as Americans, don’'t have to tolerate 31,000 deaths from gun violence every single year. It's the knowledge that if our elected officials refuse to take action on gun violence, that we will hold them accountable.

Do you believe we should keep guns out of the hands of felons and domestic abusers? Do you think we should keep guns out of churches, schools, or playgrounds? Do you think the right to life and liberty is just as important as the right to bear arms? If you're nodding your head, then you have gun sense -- and it's time to act.

Take the Pledge to be a Gun Sense Voter:

'I pledge to support local, state and federal candidates who will fight for common-sense reforms to reduce gun violence.'
