Urge High School To Take Action Against Students' "Fantasy Slut League"

At Piedmont High School, administrators recently uncovered a "Fantasy Slut League," in which male students earn points for sexual encounters with female students. Despite the unofficial club's disgusting, misogynistic, and abusive nature, the school neglected to take any investigative or disciplinary action.
The administration felt that the best way to handle the "Fantasy Slut League," was to send an informal letter home to parents and to vow to hold "educational assemblies" about the matter.
When approximately 1 in 5 high school students are victims of physical or sexual abuse, a letter doesn't match up to a legitimate investigation of organized sexual assault. The club's organization may have happened off-campus, but it directly affected female students at Piedmont nonetheless.
Tell Principal Kitchens that he and his administration must take real action to show the consequences of mistreating women.
Dear Principal Kitchens,
Writing an educational letter to inform the community of Piedmont High School's "Fantasy Slut League" is a disservice to Piedmont High's female students and supposed code of conduct.
I urge you to conduct an investigation identifying those involved instead of sending the message that athletes may treat women how they please without bearing any responsibility or consequences.
Merely educating the community about the mistreatment of female students is a sugar-coated action that fails to confront a misogynistic student population that thinks taking advantage of women should be a game. We do not know the details regarding assault, alcohol-induced pressure, or inappropriate social pressure--and an educational letter certainly won't help us find out.
Sexual assault and the mistreatment of female students deserve investigative attention.
Failing to investigate the "Fantasy Slut League" communicates to students that bullying, harassment, and assault are acceptable and can be committed without consequences.
