Take a stand against cybersex trafficking so that children like Dianna can live a life free from abuse. #NotOnMyScreen

Fear. Abuse. Isolation. This was everyday life for Dianna*, a young survivor of cybersex trafficking from the Philippines.

With the rise of internet access across the globe, the Philippines has become the primary supplier of children for online sexual exploitation worldwide. Customers around the globe – including Canadians – pay to stream live videos and abusive images of children being forced to perform sexual acts. Of nearly 60 countries investigated by Cybertip.ca, Canada ranked in the top three for hosting websites, images or selling material containing child sexual abuse.

Eleven-year-old Dianna lived in a one-room home with her parents and two younger sisters. She went to school like a normal child, but she would return home to a nightmare. Night after night, Dianna's parents would force her to perform sex acts in front of a web camera for paying customers online. There was nowhere to hide.

Thankfully, Dianna's story didn't end there. In 2013, IJM partnered with local law enforcement on a rescue operation to arrest Dianna's parents. Just months ago, the couple was sentenced to 15 years in prison.

Dianna and her sisters are now safe. They've begun the long journey to restoration and are relearning a childhood free from violence.

Children like Dianna don't get to say "No". But you do.

Sign International Justice Mission's #NotOnMyScreen pledge to stand against the cybersex trafficking of children – and help bring awareness to this devastating form of abuse.

I CHOOSE TO BE PART OF THE SOLUTION AND PLEDGE THAT:

I will not download or stream any content involving the cybersex trafficking of children on my devices.

I will never support the online exploitation of children by being a part of the demand.

I will back legislation that will protect children who are victims and prosecute perpetrators justly.

I will proudly display the #NotOnMyScreen sticker on my device and encourage others to do the same.

I will take steps to better understand the issue of cybersex trafficking.

I will challenge the misconception that this is a victimless crime.

I will use my voice and network to ensure that those around me are aware and informed of this crime.
