Quit Re-moving foster children from loving foster-adoptive homes. Return the foster children to the

I am a foster parent in Kentucky. I loved and cared for three girls (who were biological sisters) in my home for two years. Months after the judge changed the goal to adoption for these girls, the Cabinet for Health and Family Services (Northeast Region) ripped the girls from me. The girls were taken to another foster home, and social services will not allow me to even see them.  Not only do I want the foster children who I loved as daughters to be returned to my home, I want the state of Kentucky to require a hearing before a judge before social services can take a child out of a foster home and move her to another home.

It is tragic enough for a child to be removed from her biological home, but to be bounced around from foster home to foster home further victimizes the children.  Social services re-moves foster children for their own reasons, not for the best interest of the children.

The children in my home were loved by me, my family, their teachers, their friends, their coaches, their church friends..... and were so excited to be adopted. When a judge decided they were to be adopted, I thought the worst was over. Now, I live a nightmare.  I hear the girls yelling, "NO!  Mommy!" I see them crying, forced into a social worker's car. That was what happened the last time I saw my "daughters".

Governer Beshear, and Secretary Haynes, how can either of you allow children and families to be tortured like this?  We want children who have been taken from loving foster-to-adopt families returned!  We want the torture to stop in Kentucky!  Quit allowing social workers to re-move foster children from their forever families!
