Help Chimpanzees in Research

Right now there are hundreds of chimpanzees suffering in laboratories across the U.S. Many of these individuals are being "warehoused" — simply kept with no known plan for their retirement in sanctuaries.

Chimpanzees are intelligent and social beings who thrive on enriching activities and the bonds they share with others. They don't deserve isolation, confinement, or physical abuse. By signing the pledge today, you are joining with others to show your support that all research chimpanzees in the U.S. deserve retirement from life in laboratories and a chance to live the rest of their lives filled with peace, enrichment, and the company of other chimpanzees.

Save the Chimps is the world's largest chimpanzee sanctuary. With over 250 chimpanzees, most rescued from research facilities, this sanctuary gives them the care and companionship they deserve.

This month, as we commemorate World Lab Animal Day on April 24, won't you join Save the Chimps with your own pledge?

Pledge

I pledge to remember the chimpanzees still confined in research laboratories and honor their sacrifice. For those who have found retirement, I pledge to honor their past and celebrate their sanctuary.
