PLEASE HELP US TO MOVE THE SOCCER WORLD CUP 2010 TO A SAFER COUNTRY AND TO FORCE THE SOUTH AFRICAN GOVERNMENT TO MAKE SOUTH AFRICA SAFE AGAIN.

World Cup 2010: Venue must be changed
We are very concerned about the safety of the citizens of South Africa where the government refuses and appears to be unable to bring under control the horrendous crime rates. South Africa has an average of 20.000 murders a year especially of helpless farmers, the highest reported number of rapes world-wide, and violent robberies. This is a country where even the police stations have to use private security companies to protect them.
It is inconceivable that the World Cup 2010 can be held in such a country where many thousands of foreign visistors will be at extreme risk. Even the infrastructure will not be able to cope, and most Foreign Offices warn of the risks of going there as a tourist.
It is inconceivable that the World Cup 2010 can be held in such a country where many thousands of foreign visistors will be at extreme risk. Even the infrastructure will not be able to cope, and most Foreign Offices warn of the risks of going there as a tourist.
