Like many Americans we check out our pay check stubs to see our deductions. If you are like me I notice my biggest deduction is Social Security, and as we know it or not it is now a proven fact that Social Security will be depleted in the next 20 to 30 years. This money that they are deducting could be a big part used to invest into another retirement plan that will allow me a better future for not only us but for our family, and our children. This is definitely not the end of this petition, but this is the start, this petition will give us and our children the future that we work so hard to achieve.
Under the 28th Amendment it states, That Congress shall make no law that applies to citizens of the, United States of America, that does not apply equally to the Senators or Representatives; and, congress shall not make no law that applies to Senators or Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United States of America.
However Congressmen, Senates, Police Officers, City Workers do not have to pay into Social Security, instead they have a separate retirement that they are allowed to opted out at any time and pay into something that will benefit them. They can even retire after just serving one term, usually a two to four year term with full pay, when service members are allotted fifty percent of their base pay. Why do the people of the Government have special circumstances, which the citizens of the United States don’t?
In signing this petition you will not only change your future, but you will be able to give your children’s children a future, you will be able to take this extra money going to Social Security, and be able to put into something that will benefit your family, into something that won’t be depleted. You will be able to retire comfortably. Now is the time we stop wondering what is in the future for us, but actually creating the future for us, this is where we start.
