Pledge To Be A Climate Messenger

If each and every one of us would make a resolution for our Earth for this coming year whatever it be and stick with it, we can bring back some of the balance lost. However, we are running out of time before the window closes. This petition seeks signatures of those of all political, social, and economic backgrounds who are committed to doing just that.
Therefore, since it was you, Mr. Gore, who in this year brought the truth and realization to us of what we are doing to our planet and also the hope of what we can do together to mitigate it in a moral non partisan way passionately and with courage of conviction, this petition is addressed to you to show you our support for your initiatives and for being stewards of our planet.
The signatures contained therein are those of people who pledge that in the coming year 2007, that they will do all they can to educate, inform, and take action to address the climate crisis that is already affecting our world from melting glaciers, to acidic oceans, to declining species, to droughts, and to also pledge that they will become Climate Messengers.
Resolutions for the Earth for 2007:
*Resolve to continue to do all you can in spreading awareness about the climate crisis and its affects on our world and do all you can to address it in your own life.
*Resolve to look into alternate energies and how you can use them to save energy and preserve our air, land, and water.
*Resolve to make sure that your children are made aware of the affects of climate change and all they can do as the next generation to become more involved in taking care of this planet.
*Resolve to be the change you wish to see in this world regarding this issue and all others that are important to the sustenance of this Earth.
*Resolve to continue to support the work of the Honorable Al Gore and others regarding this crisis now. There is no more important issue than this for our future as the environment affects all else. The people need more enlightenment on this issue and Mr. Gore is the man who is the best leader to inform, inspire, and empower people to action.
*Finally, resolve to continue to push Congress now to lead the way on this issue. The 21st Century is here and we cannot let it pass by doing things as we have in years past. Our Earth can no longer sustain this rapacious pace.
Also note: This petition is not about political campaigning, this is about our continued sustainability, and Congress must be made to see that it is their moral obligation to address this issue cogently, forcefully, and substantively now regardless of political party.
Earth is our only home, and 2007 must be the year that we the people take the torch from Al Gore and those who have given us the truth and resolve to be the stewards of this planet we were meant to be and to truly show him that we support his endeavors on this crisis without any political agenda attached, because this is simply the moral and right thing to do.
