Help Fight Extreme Poverty: Live Below the Line

1.2 billion people live on less than $1.50 a day. Could you? Concern Worldwide is challenging you to live on just $1.50 a day for five days, and help us fight extreme poverty.

For people living below the poverty line, $1.50 a day must pay for everything — food, water, healthcare, education, clothing. The Live Below the Line campaign gives participants a unique glimpse into the choices and challenges faced by those living in poverty, and the opportunity to translate awareness into action through fundraising. Participants can spend just $1.50 a day on food and drink for five days. It's a huge challenge, but it's possible. And by telling your friends and family about your efforts, and raising money, you can have a real impact on global hunger.

Since launching in 2010, Live Below the Line participants have raised more than $11 million for 150 charity partners around the world. Today, Concern Worldwide is a major partner and is dedicated to making sustainable change in the lives of people living in extreme poverty.

Pledge to support Concern Worldwide in the Live Below the Line campaign. Join our community from April 27th - May 1st, 2015 to help spread the word about global poverty by dedicating this time to living under $1.50 a day. We promise that you'll gain insight into the challenges faced by the people living in extreme poverty. With you, we can make an impact.
