Support David Siegel in his effort to make Stanford GSB more inclusive, rational, effective, and responsive

I'm not asking for money or direct influence. Please sign here to say you are affiliated with the GSB and support the ideas at www.openstanford.com. Even if I'm not chosen to lead this effort, the names here will show the trustees that the entire industry needs change and Stanford should lead the way.

In the comment box on the right, please note your affiliation with Stanford. This is not a mailing list. You will not be contacted after the thank-you note.

Thank you.

David Siegel

To the Stanford Board of Trustees and the GSB dean selection committee:

Stanford's Graduate School of Business should honor Garth Saloner's work by making him the last dean. My goal is to co-lead the GSB into the 21st century, to make it more inclusive, relevant, rational, open, and responsive. There is no need to tolerate business as usual, when the needs of a new century are so pressing.

The goal is to move incrementally toward self-management and a more open curriculum that includes a core understanding of critical thinking and statistical literacy. Our goal is to reinvent management and leadership by doing experiments and measuring the results, not reinforcing myths. By setting an example and turning the GSB itself into a lab for learning how to manage, we will show companies,  schools, and governments around the world that they can do the same. For details, see www.openstanford.com.

Sincerely,

David Siegel
