Have you looked around and paid attention to what is happening in our great nation? Read, listen, watch and learn... open your eyes, Wake Up America!!
Clearly you will see that in each of our states, in every town the LAW ENFORCEMENT is becoming more and more aggressive, abusive, arrogant and forceful.. this is demonstating "Police States"... it may be in it's earlier stages, because it's been happening slowly over the years, basically "brain washing" individuals so they do not recognize the power we have given them over us!
Then there is the Govt., what did President Bush say "there won't be any dictatorship, unless he is the "dictator"? Notice how willing he is to send our American troops not just to war in other countries, but on the American Mexican Boarders as well? Bush is involving our soldiers, our MILITARY in ways that insult our constitution and most definately our liberties! Martial Law is serious, and in place right now! Not ready for any foriegn enemies, but for us right here in America the land of the free..
What I see is the Govt. has used thier own terror tactics on U.S. citizens to instill enough fear in us, to give up our freedom for their protection.. Who will protect us from them when it's all over? Please, I encourage everyone to educate themselves about "the New World Order" "Bohemian Grove" "the Elite" and the changes to our U.S. Constitution regarding the "Patriot Act" etc., obviously this is cruical to all of our FREEDOM and CIVIL RIGHTS! Help fight this to change the gradual domination... we are becoming the "puppets" they have been trying to make us, they are turning our freedom into control over us...
Authoritarianism describes a form of social control characterized by strict obedience to the authority of a state or organization, often maintaining and enforcing control through the use of oppressive measures. Authoritarian regimes are strongly hierarchical.
A police state is a state with authority which uses the police, especially secret police, to maintain and enforce political power, even through violent or arbitrary means if necessary. A police state typically exhibits elements of totalitarianism or other harsh means of social control. In a police state the police are not subject to the rule of law in an emergency and there is no meaningful distinction between the law and the exercise of political power by the executive.
Police states do not often refer to themselves in this manner, as the classification is often established by an internal whistle-blower or external critic. The use of term is motivated as a response to the laws, policies and actions of that regime, and is often used pejoratively to describe the regime's concept of the social contract, human rights, and similar matters.
Martial law is the system of rules that takes effect (usually after a formal declaration) when a military authority takes control of the normal administration of justice.
Usually martial law reduces some of the personal rights ordinarily granted to the citizen, limits the length of the trial processes, and prescribes more severe penalties than ordinary law. In many countries martial law prescribes the death penalty for certain crimes, even if ordinary law does not contain that crime or punishment in its system.
