Appeal Against Communal Terrorism
Request to condemn recent violence in Gujarat, india, and consider it a planned genocide of a minority community, to crack down on the terrorists and ban all organisations involved in the act.

We are deeply disturbed by the horrifying incidents in Gujarat and other parts of India - that followed the Godhra train incident - that is clearly not a series of communal riots, but a planned genocide of a chosen community. It seems to be part of a larger design to destabilise the country by promoting civil war. We appeal to the Goverment of India to call a crime a crime, recognise these murderers and arsonists as terrorists. They should condemn the violence in unequivocal terms, stop giving respectability to the criminals by inviting them for negotiations, crack down on the terrosists and put them behind bars without any further delay. The organisations behind the genocide - VHP and RSS partiularly and other such Hindu fundamentalist organisations - should immediately be banned and stern action initiated against the leaders and perpetrators of this blatantly criminal act to save the country from disintegration and restore people's faith in democratic and lawful governance.
