63 6:56 am PDT, Jun 17   Gayle Barr United States No,but my children could. I've been through this with my brothers in vietnam. Why don't the men that tell us to go to war get their tushies out there and fight, instead of sending others to do their fighting.
62 10:13 am PST, Feb 13   Anonymous United States NO
61 5:15 pm PST, Jan 23   Tiffany Ayala United States There shouldn't be a draft. This is really unfair for the men. No one should be forced to go into war. It's even more unfair that their only making the men go in. If their going to make the men fight why not make the women fight. Is it because we have babies? Men created the babies too. This is also unfair for women cause their husbands or boyfriends would be gone.

40 7:53 pm PDT, Jun 1   Beth Harper United States The draft amounts to involuntary servitude, which is unconstitutional in the absence of a criminal conviction. If there is a mandate from the public to be in a war, there will be more than ample volunteers. If the war is against the public sentiment, people should not be forced to fight and die for something they do not believe in as long as they are free citizens of a democracy. It flies in the face of the right to life, liberty, and the persuit of happiness.
39 1:03 am PDT, May 30   Steve Klein Canada +

33 12:21 pm PST, Nov 25   Anonymous United States The draft should not be reinstated. The only reason we're in the Middle East, the only reason our friends and family are dying, is for oil! We have no business in Iraq! We teens have our own plans for our futures, and most of them are at a good college, not war.
32 3:19 pm PDT, Oct 18   robert ballard United States no one should do the draft
31 6:20 pm PDT, Oct 16   Anonymous United States No

27 3:00 pm PDT, Oct 1   Anonymous United States No, but I have children who may be drafted someday.I do not believe the government has the right to force people to go to their deaths against their will.Maybe they wouldnt need the draft if they just minded their own dam business for a change.
26 7:33 am PDT, Oct 1   Crystal Forkan United States No, but my children will eventually be, and I refuse to allow Pretender Bush to send my children (or anyone else involuntarily) off to die in illegal wars.
25 4:19 pm PDT, Sep 30   Anonymous United States Forcing somebody to fight in this country goes against the basic concepts of freedom in this great nation. Kill the draft.

17 8:43 pm PDT, Sep 24   Jennifer Dempsey United States no
16 5:50 pm PDT, Sep 24   Brad Rosene United States I served this Great Nation with pride during the first Gulf War. I would gladly serve it again in the war we find ourselves engaged in now. I do not support a draft for the same reason most soldiers do not support it. We do NOT want to find ourselves in a foxhole with anyone who doesn't believe in this nation enough to volunteer themselves to its service. You can't support our troops if you don't support their mission. God bless America.
15 2:39 pm PDT, Sep 24   Tamara F. Wolf United States no, but all three of my children would
14 1:10 pm PDT, Sep 24   owen davis Switzerland No. And if I were to be, I would rather spend the duration of the war in a military prison anyway. Make love, because war sucks.

12 10:50 am PDT, Sep 24   Nora Davis United States No.
11 10:38 am PDT, Sep 24   Dan Denman United States Whether or not I believe in its justice, I am a citizen of this country and therby i must be included in the draft. I receive necessary services from my government for which I own it, and part of that obligation for a male of my age in this country at this time is particiaption in the draft. Let it be known, however, if such a draft were to happen, and i were included, i could not be stopped from showing myself in a cutoff tank and hot pants, displaying a particular affinity for speech regarding the bedroom lives of my commanding officers
10 10:31 am PDT, Sep 24   jenny coolidge United States no
9 9:25 am PDT, Sep 24   Jerod DeGroot United States No
8 8:12 am PDT, Sep 24   Nickie Acero United States no
7 7:46 am PDT, Sep 24   Brian Dempsey United States No.
6 6:27 pm PDT, Sep 23   Aaron Wolf United States Definitely no! President Bush only cares about himself.
5 6:20 pm PDT, Sep 23   Kathleen Dempsey United States Unlikely
4 8:47 pm PDT, Sep 22   Laurie Dempsey United States We as young people have spent our lives preparing ourselves to do something productive. We aim for good grades and a profound college experience. We want to make our dreams come true. We cannot be robbed of our chance to do something with the only life we have. America is about freedom, and the draft rapes us of our freedom to live our lives fully. Or at all. Freedom is not about forcing people, young people, with a full life ahead of them, into a bloodbath. You cannot force us to do anything but instead, let us live our life to the fullest.
3 10:49 am PDT, Aug 29   Nicki Brooks United States Absolutely NOT!
2 12:04 am PDT, Aug 10   Katie Evans United States Absolutely not.
1 10:26 pm PDT, Aug 2   Anonymous United States no
