It was a pushing and shoving match that my children only saw 2 minutes of while we were leaving the house. They weren't in any danger, nor were they injured in any way. Since then they have returened my baby and allowed my boyfriend to move back home. (taking my children and kicking him out of his own home Highly unconstitutional) They continue to keep my older two girls separate from me. I think they are trying to give custody to their father whom choked me when I was pregnant with our second daughter. It is all a game to them. They have violated our 4th and 14th amendment rights, parental rights, children's rights. Forget about me anyway, this is supposed to be about protecting children. | My youngest child was nearly molested. I then drove 45 miles with my 17,15 & 14 year old children, to my younger sisters house for moral support. Her husband,whom I met 5 times, is a police officer, blamed the incident on "My DRUG ABUSE". After reporting the incident which took 5 hours, my children and I waved to the 3 sheriffs and my sister and her husband. Within 15 minutes I was violently pulled over by a CHP officer who might I add would not allow my children to call their own father only my sister."STRANGE HUH" My kids kidnapping nightmare started then. My sisters husband wrote personal letters to the judge, social workers, while he was trying to keep custody of my children. I did everything asked of me. I never missed a test, class, visit, yet still I couldn't see my kids. Only after I stopped being afraid of the workers comments did they go away. My children are in worse shape now 10 full months later then at my hardest times ever in my 17 year single mother history! I had never been arrested in my life untill that night. Her mother, Nicole had delt with C.P.S. in the past, and had her other daughter Jordyn, age 2, stolen by them. That was Abbys sister. Now Nicole is a good person. Shes not perfect. She has made mistakes. Most of them, after they stole Jordyn. Before all this happend, Nicole lived life right and Jordyn had a pretty happy life with her mom. Right before they stole her, Nicoles older brother Jim, died at the age of 25. Being a single mom, Jim helped Nicole and was a very large part of Jordyns upbrining. Before Nicole could even start moorning her brothers death, CPS came looking for someone else at Nicoles Apt.that she shared with her mom(Nicole wasn't even the target of there investagation).Trying to save face,CPS then ASKED them for drug tests. Nicole and her mom, feeling that CPS had no right to ask,declined, protecting their rights. One month later, while Nicole was sleeping,CPS stole Jordyn, right out of her bed. As of Jan 2009, Jordyn has been adopted. Jordyn will never see her mom or grandmother, or ever meet her sister. Nicole firmly believed she was taken advantage of and they used her misery to steal her daughter." It feels like another person that she loved dearly, died." Nicole then started to drink and use drugs to ease the pain. What came out of this? A broken mother, family and a lost little girl. My name is Russell III. I have a son, Russ VI, age 10. I havent been with Russ's mom for 9 years, but we share the responsabiltys. I love my son with all my heart! I met Nicole in June 2006. At first, on the outside, Nicole looked like any beautiful, young 23yr old. But as time went by, you could hear and feel the pain she was carrying. She could'nt even look at a picture Jordyn with out crying. since I've been with her, shes gotten better. We had Abagail in Aug 24, 2008. Because of her past with CPS about Jordyn, they were able to take Abby On the Aug 26., violating my rights of a father. I've given 6 mths of clean drug and alcohol tests, and recently joined the New York State National Guard to better my life, and they still want me to go into a drug and alcohol program, which I cant afford or get to. On March 25, 2009 a placement hearing took place in Dutchess County, N.Y. Now they get to keep Abby for another 6 mths and let her be put up for adoption cause I could'nt complete my programs. I'm going to hold off the military to complete their programs, but I firmly belive they are going to come up with another excuse to keep Abby, even after I complete them. I have worked hard to stay sober for 16 years. I got my children back in 1995. I went to a fair hearing to expunge my record, and they said there is nothing they can do because of the stature of limitations. They said the only thing I can do is talk to my employer. I understand that I went for a 424A and I should have been going for a 422, but again it is too late. They punish the people that do well, and take care of their children, and do nothing to the ones that need to be watched. Oswego Co. is known for messing up. Recently an eleven year old girl was killed because of ther negligence. IT IS SO SAD. THank you, I really don't know where to go with this. Other than never apply for a job where children are involved. I work with Mom's to help them get into treatment for alcohol, and drug alligations, so their children aren't taken. The CPS worker said that the case will be founded due to there were criminal charges, and I should get my tubes tied because I will be having my 5th child by the 4th guy(my second HUSBAND!). I was allowed to keep my children as long as I agreed to work with a SPIFY worker to get into anger management counciling. I am 7 months pregnant and after more than 60 days the CPS worker said she'd be closing the case out due to I had fully complied with her refferal to a spify worker to voluntarily enroll myself in anger management counciling. Within a week she called me back telling me that her supervisor had just advised her to file a neglect petition on me to have ALL of my children removed from my custody(including my unborn daughter, who I plan to breastfeed when shes born in June)for the initial, and only incident ever, and that she wanted me get a psychiatric evaluation. I was told that as long as the evaluation came back normal she didn't see why she wouldn't be able to close the case out, BUT she didn't know what her supervisor would want to do.( I tape recorded the entire conversation!) I am comfortable with getting a psychiatric evaluation, in fact I have already scheduled one on my own. Now the case has passed the 90 period. I took my children to the park today 3/20/09 and when I returned I foung a letter from the CPS worker telling me I had to sign a form immediately to continue services. I don't feel comfortable signing this form, they should have done their job in the 90 days given for the investigation. They can call and confirm the appointment with the psychiatrist due to I provided CPS with a form stating they were allowed to access this information for 12 months past the date of me signing. My children are A students, are and have always been well taken care of and provided for. They have never been subjected to abuse or neglect in any way shape or form. The 2 boys share a room and the 2 girls share a room, in which they all have their own beds, there is always a more than adequate supply of food in the house, it is clean, they are bathed, have tons of clothes, shoes, jacket, all of the medical care required, and they even get their teeth cleaned regularly by the dentist. I will never say that my actions were not wrong because they very well could have become dangerous, but my children do not deserve to be removed when they weren't effected in anyway, and I am going to counciling to help myself with this issue. I think it's rediculous how this system is being run. They are trying to take kids out of good homes where they are well taken care of, thriving, and loved and placing them in state care. Yet they choose to leave young children in unsanitary homes where they are being neglected, and sexually molested, then murdered. The school did not ask for an explanation prior to reporting even though a parent was present in the classroom and spoke with the teacher prior to the report. We did not think we needed to proactively explain the scratch in order to prevent being taken to the police station. | The case has been closed as unfounded. We are preparing a petition to expunge. | Our constitutional rights have been violated repeatedly throughout this process. At this point, our right to privacy is being violated by keeping a record of a case where we were affirmed INNOCENT in the State Central Register. | We were never informed of our rights throughout this process. My children were taken from their school to a police station, questioned without representation, required to be examined by a physician (who by the way said this injury did not qualify for reporting) and had our home invaded. Now we have a record hanging over our heads for the majority of the rest of our lives unless someone agrees to expunge it and WE ARE COMPLETELY INNOCENT of any wrongdoing. The police officer assigned to the case immediately dismissed it and provided us a letter of support. The case worker also said he believed the injury was accidental, but was required to investigate and keep the case open for 60 days. We were never informed of our rights to not cooperate with the case. We were told we had to. | YES. I married a man in the military which is why we moved. From the minute my children and I arrived my ex-husband was very physically abusive towards me. I was isolated, and some how I talked him into letting me get a job. This man was so patient with my children that I trusted him not to hurt them. I noticed one day my children had bruises on their bottoms. I confronted him about this and after he beat the hell out of me he apologized and said it would never happen again. On July 19, 2008, my manager had asked me to work a double shift, i said yes but would have to go home first. I made my babies lunch, took a nap, woke up, gave my childrens a snack, and left for work at 3:45. At or around 7:15 my neighbor calls me and says my daughter is going to the hospital. She had a subderal hematoma and she was transported to SUNY hospital, in which she was diagnosed with shaking baby syndrome. My children were taken from me and my ex-husband for I could not give them an reason besides when she fell for her head trauma, and my ex-husband was the only one home and he wouldnt talk. At first I couldnt believe it and I denied any abuse. My mother came out and that is when I confronted him in which he admitted to shaking her because she wasnt breathing. I immediately got an order of protection, notified CPS and the acting Investigator. CPS told me that if I didnt sign this paper that i would never see my children again. I come to find out that the paper was for me to voluntarily let them take my babies. There has been no criminal charges brought upon myself, there has been criminal charges brought upon my ex-husband. And to this day my children are still in foster care. My parents have been approved for relative placement after an ICPC was conducted and for some reason my children have not gone. The father of my boys has petitioned for custody. CPS is entertaining his petition, and he is court order by Nevada courts, where I am from, to have supervised visitation. He is a dead beat father and only wants the children for child support. He has already filed for child support in Nevada. I have done everything CPS has asked and beyond, and nothing seems to move foward. I have visitation with my children 3 days a week in the foster home. I am battling the military as well for funds. I have no transportation. I have applied for jobs but with my sparatic scheduel it seems impossible. I have no funds, and my babies want to come home. I did not abuse my children. I will take blame for not leaving my ex-huband and for that it has caused my babies to suffer. I just am at a loss. I have no one to turn to. In January 2007 CPS services became involved in Tennessee because my husband was hitting me off and on (DV case). In front of the kids because I had affair and I did want to leave him. I ended up sending my kids to NY state. My husband and I stayed here in TN for 3 months. I returned to NY in April 07. Immediatedly when I came home I was asked to work with a caseworker for Preventive services. It was said it was volenteer and I didn't have to do it. I decieded to work with them so I could not lose my kids. They were concerned about domestic violence that was occuring in front of the kids. My husband was on drugs(POT) and drinking alot. I wanted to work on things and had used all there services. My husband continued to hit me and fight in front of the children. My caseworker Melonie Lugo, said I needed to tell her when any abuse or drugs, were involved. She suggested I get a drug and alchol evalution along with mental eval. I didn't disagree. They didnt make him leave or suggest order of protect. He told them because I had affair and I ask for the hits. Hitting went on for years and my husband let my 12 yr old drink and use drugs which was documented. One of my family members falsely reported me and then some supervisor reported our case to the family courts. Now we are being charged with neglect on our four children. I have been working with CPS since April 07 and trying to be compliant. My son whose 12 missed 9 days of school and I had a Docters note but it wasn't good enough and his teacher saw him on a weekend at the mall and he didn't come in that following Monday. School reported it and then it went from there with court. They seem to also be playing my husband against me now he is safe and I am neglectful. I did leave the state not because of CPS but the abuse from my husband which no cares now to look at. They might take custody from me and give it to him. They court order my kids to stay in NY state til said otherwise. | YES |

One caseworker came to my house with a police officer. These caseworkers have come two days in a row and do not even know that someone was here the previous day. In addition, they do not even focus on the health of my children. They come in and count my BiPolar meds, call my psychiatrist and question my husband about the safety of leaving the children with me while he is at work. I am not a drug addict, I do not drink, I have never hurt my children, my house is clean. I feel that because of my disorder I am being unfairly treated. Do I have any recourse? I am at the point that I leave my house early in the morning to go to my parents house and do not come home until late so that I don't have to exprience the anxienty of waiting for the knock on the door. My daughter starts school on Tuesday so this will no longer be an option. Any advice on how to handle this situation would be much appreciated. Point blank it was quoted, "child abuse is broken bones or a dead baby" and "you know, none of this would be happening if you just got back together with your ex..." WHAT?!? I'm sorry, for me - five years of a physically, verbally and mentally abusive marriage and then an additional two years of torturous regimes to follow, is beyond my scope of being able to 'deal' anymore. The lucky part about it is that I got out when I did. Now we project into the future...Daddy has an indicated CPS report on file, and I have nothing against me. I'm very well accustomed to the typical behaviors of the investigative caseworkers as they've visited my home too many times to count, but still it remains the same; He's ready to go off at any minute and I've been the law-abiding, loving mother the whole time. It's June 2007 and we'd finally concluded our two-year trial in the matter of custody/visitation and dissolution of the marriage. We wait another eight months to follow, for the decision to finally make its way down from the judges podium, bringing us to January 2008. The decision is severly slighted! I'm granted sole custody with numerous citations on my "alienating" behavior towards the father - well yea....that's because he's an abuser and it's only a matter of time until I or my son do end up fitting the quoted description of what "child abuse" is - why wouldn't I alienate to save the life of my son? Regardless, I deal with the order and await the aftermath. Not two weeks after, my ex files a 10-page motion seeking custody and a restraining order on me, stating allegation after allegation (ALL FALSE) and now bringing in my very supportive and loving extended family. The worst part is that the beloved law-guardian is too close for comfort. Her bias remarks and horrific behavior have no doubt been a large contributor to this fiasco as her afternoon lunch sessions with Daddy Abuser become more and more frequent. She's not looking out for the welfare of her client, my son at all! Then what? When someone's finally harmed, mamed or killed by this man, then it will be all over the news that, "Oh, I always knew there was something wrong with him...", or "There were so many signs, but he looked like such a nice guy..." kinds of comments. I suppose I'm just expected to sit around and wait until there's nothing left to defend....I'm completely lost. | I've tried gaining the insight into the operations of this system, but the deeper that I dig, the more disgusted I become. There's no one department or agency that is willing to take accountability. Because of that, it only enables the abusers and prevents the good parents from living a life, and thus, jeopardizing the welfare of thousands of children every day! Where do I go next? | 559 | 2:15 pm PST, Mar 6 | jenni toth | 22 | Female | forest city | Pennsylvania | 18421 | United States | yesand my son at the time was 1yrs old and 9months pregnant | no im not! | no!i was ran through the hoops b/c i didnt know about the system! | who my husband and i were raising his daughter since she was 8 months old at the time her mother lost her and her sister for the 2 time for child abuse and neglect etc. she was beating her children with objects leaving welts bruising and wow it was horrible!so we took this baby in her mother lost contact the sad things was we only lived a few min.away! she was about 4 when her mom popped up and wanted to play mommy well our daughter i don't think of her any differently,was getting confused b/c she thought that i was her bilogical mom so we had went for proffessional help and was on a budget b/c of finances so the school recommende that we get therpy etc. so the theripist thought by us keeping the child from her mom she would get worse!well i got worse she wouldn't come to see her half the time and when she did she complained about her behavor and smart mouth as she called it (her mother)well one day she had came unannounced to take her for the wekend and i had second thought but my husband said no just let her go!well i tried calling while she was there and at the time they were sappose to be at her grandparents that was 1hour away well the police and cps came to my house 48 hrs later when the child was sappose to come home,well they said that the child was brought in a snow storm to the police dept.with bruises saying mommy did it well i brought it to trial after they stripped my son and found nothing wrong with him but they said they had to take him for percaution!well i fought it i got my son 4 months later he was in care of the state and was placed with a elder spanish speaking women,we speak english and my son was comming to the visits to see me with bruises and scratches all over i reported it and the rashes from not being changed they said my son was clumbsy i then fought for him to be placed with family but my parents lived out of the state and were present in court they denied them coustody well my son was sent to live with his god parents for 3 months i then was in parenting classes ind.couseling b/c i had an anger now but b/c my situation i had all the right my theripist says i was not charged criminally but charged with neglect!i got my son back june 2006 he was takin feb.2006 i did 2 years of parenting ind.counceling and now just getting done my step daughter after living with her mother fromfeb.2006-oct2006 when she was placed in foster care b/c her mother was charged for the 3rd time for child abuse in another state!my husband and i got our daughter on every other weekend well she got worse she accused people of sexually touching her from kids in her school the foster parents every one! she is now 7 and has been in aphyciatric center twice for trying to hurt herself! she started to try to bully my kids i have 3 boys now she was a handful and i think tramua tized b/c of this if you can in the testimony of the courts the doctors say bruising was 24hrs old and they asked the child who but the clue is no they did not ask or examine the child allone the did the investigation in front of her mother who is the abuser to know what that child went through for the months that she was there no one would want to but just to be in my or my husbands and you cant do any thing i was told numerous times to worry about me and my child!well my step daughter is now in the custody of her mothers mother we had to sign her over b/c it was getting to late to help her!we had just found out that her mother is living in the furnished basement!well cant do any thing but oh yeah they are charging us 10,000 dollars in child support and her mother doesn't have to pay. | yes and sign releases,testify what ever needs to be done! | |

| 555 | 7:52 am PST, Mar 3 | Mrs. | Anonymous | 40 | Female | forest city | Pennsylvania | 18421 | United States | yes my daughter | yes she is | no she is not shes being harrassed | my daughter has a step daughter who was removed from her mothers care at the age of 7 months for child abuse and her mother had lost custody of her older sister 3 times for beating her with belts and leaving bruises up her legs and back and then she would soak her in a cold tub to reduce the swelling. one thursday the mother picks this girl up takes her home for a weekend visit 3 days later she takes the child to the emergency room with bruises, they ask the little girl who did it and she said mommy, her mother looks at her and then she says no i mean and she says my daughters name, now this little girl has never called my daughter mommy,so the cops storm in my daughters house search my 6 month old grandson and a couple days later remove him from the home for his saftey, and they allow this girl to stay with her mother now remind you they never found any signs of abuse on my grandson,they rturned my grandson to my daughter (a couple of months later because they found nothing) that day that her mother had picked her up earlier a cps worker had been to my daughters house and seen the little girl laying on the couch in her night shirt and she seen no bruises on her,now 6 months down the road this little girls mother once again beats her older sister and looses custody once again to her and has a protective order stating she is not to be left alone at anytime with any children including her own under the age of 18 while this child was in foster care she accused the foster father of molesting her, the same thing her mother did when the older sister was in foster care this child has been hospitalized numerous time for attempted suicide after a visit with her mother so what do they do they return all her children to her, and still harrass my daughter she has had to more children since then and never has been found guilty of anything will somebody please tell me what is wrong with this picture, i have no doubt in my mind that something bad will happen to these little girl and i have noted my concern to numerous people in the system but like always they dont seem to hear me. this has been going on for years please tell me why they continue to harrass my daughter, and not the one who realy beats her kids | yes |

My case in family court started in November of 2006 and is still going now 2008. Thruout this year and a half i hired a private investigater and had over 10 witnesses on the stand including my PI , Neighbors to her zero witnesses. thru that process my neighbors testified that while i was removed from my home unlawfully on a false petition that they have called CPS because she witnessed my ex beating my stepdaughter thru the window,also that she was leaving my 11 year old step daughter to watch my 3 & 7 year olds at that time for 2 days at a clip. Now N.M of Schenectady County CPS is a bias investigator and blew it off & didn't even want to see how she saw thru the windows that were exactly 25 feet apart. She in returned tipped off my ex that i know whats going on and know that she's driving a car illeagal with switched plates and when i called the local police the next day it just got registered.i even proved it with a motor vehicle report supplied by my P.I. As of the boyfreind he has seven pages of felonies. He has 12 counts of controlled substance sales and 2 counts of assualt on an officer with intent to do harm ,he plead quilty on all 14 felonies in 2005 and is still pending sentencing now in 2008. I found out he's snitching to keep himself out. Meanwhile my ex is in crime of moral turpitude by having him around my kids. So another words sacrafice my kids to get more drug busts. Threw all of this they have nothing on me except that i am a good father , buisness owner ,and own my one home while she lives off all the tax payers of New York State.....!!!! | absolutely yes !!! |
| 551 | 12:52 pm PST, Feb 26 | wendy johnson | 33 | Female | plattsburgh | New York | 12901 | United States | yesw i am but my children suffer the most | yes | i am not being treated farely and never given a chance to be lisson to, i can talk but i am looked at as a lier | on or about 11-06-05 celabrating my sons madagascar birthday i receaved a summens from the sharif to apear in family court regurding a pititon that the law gardein larry kudderly ordeaned an artical 10, that means it had been a pititon that could patencaly have my children removed and place in foster caer. larry kuderly stated he only filed the pitition to show he ment busness.the reported strated that he wish to keep the children to remain in my care and have perventive searvice invaulved. for the following reasons 1. i had missed mental heath apt with my now10yr.old ( yes i did yet i had no transportatin and when i ask med. transpot they could not transport.so i filed for an Intencive Case Manager (ICM) to help with transport 2.also cancaling and rescuhdruling an apt for my now12yr old (again car still broken down and this time on the reschudral i receaved med transport.) 3. i had been acused of forcing my now 9yr old to do londrey in the dirt bastment, (for 1 my 9 yr old or any of my children not alowed to go to the basment and 2 the house we had lived in did not have a dirt basment case workers did not wish to investagate this matter nor wanted to verifi this with the land lord.) also none of the places i have lived with ny children or with out my children has had a dirt basmen and this house had been the only placed i lived with a basement. 4. isent the 3 older children up stares to get ready for bed as i had my now5yr old stay with me as Adam and i had been finishing up a conversation, my now 5 year old went up stairs w/ his siters and played in the girls room on the bed i had been by this time just started to go up stairs to get the children ready for bed and this is when my now12yr old yell in terra that 5yr fell out the window. i ran out side and he had been standin in tears crying for me. i broght him to the hospital via EMS, my son stayed over pm at the hospital for obsavation and before we went home my son and i went to wqal mart to buy over $100. worth of baby proff things including a baby gate i placed backward in each window. i would think the perventive worker would of saw this need befor this happen being she had been in my house 1-2 xs a week. praise God he is fine NOT A ONE Scatch on him just a little red on his chest. not even a bruse and one never developed. Thank God.I 5. the dss did not feel i had not ecknolaged that i had a mental illness and refused counsaling. when in realitey i had ben seeing dan duprey for almost one year but this was not enuff to convice the dss that i took mental health seriosly enuff. during all of this I had been preg. and miss carried on feb 2 2006 trinedy ann at 13 weeks we gave her a proper baral for her and placeing her in the ground with other loved and missed unborn miss haps. for me this had been a better option then a red bag that said contaminaded and thron in a trash. thank you walkers funral home for the effort you put into the care of my little girl finding a fetal cascet for her thanks. at the hearing 2-16-06 the chidren wear going to remain with me and perventive wear going to stay in the case, but richared the father of the children in this case did not wish for me to have custody (and has not scence i left him 1-02-2000 for DV.) so the case went to trial and i had been told that is this case gose to trial i will adamaticly lose them the the system. family court ruled by jugde timmothy lawless. ordered that on 2-17-06 my children wear remove from my home and placed in foster care all togeather. and through out the time the children been in care they had been seporated. 5yr w/ carlean 9yr bacons, 12y is with the desarows family, and the 10yr with a dss documented abuser his father due to he had been a hand full in foster care. in the mean time Adam and I worked, full time jobs went to evry visit w/ the children as well as home maker visits, case worker visit, parenting classes, and any and all other requsted asiment needed to be done. I have secsesfully done as DSS CPS has ask on sevral times and the goal had been to return the children home in the summer of 2007 i had visits with the children for a long while in a 15' 15' boxed room with whit cement walls. but always made the best of it i would bring my children hot home cooked meals (chiken, turky with all the fixings.fresh cold milk, the plats silvor waer we would eat offen at home) doing this had been an attemp to keep home tredition alive that we eat togeather at the table after thanking God for the food we would eat. discuse how school is going as well as how my childern are doing and how i could help them through this. the children at this point wear very happy about the visits with mom. as well as cryed when they wear over my 9year old stated after a visit and when i had left that marry evens Case worker of foster care held my wrist so tight dugg me and pulled me to go with her it made me trip then she pulled me on the floor till i got up." i made menchen to mary evens supervisor mary ryans and they stated this did not happen my 9yr old is lying not to go to them again with things like this. Adam some what a step dad to the 12, 10, 9yr\5 yrold thease visits edvenchorly wear at my house. long story short adam and I had an other child and during preg adam was the best, after the child had been born adam left and no longer wants no mre to do with child. dss now has pitition the courts to determate my perntal; rights dispite the pedatrition wrote a letter stating i should keep my children and the medical rec. from my childs birth states i am caring for my children. councaling i comlpeated a program DBT and been on Zolof exsept during my pregnecy made moraculas improvement and yet my children are told thear coming home then don't and now ny visits have gone back to the 15' 15' cement wall, and i am told do not bring big meals just a snack will due. the system is tormenting my children and my children are suffering, my 12yr old wants out for good because no one cares and show great signs os wanting to die. but this is not true in the eyes of the dss. there has been no effort to send the children hoime, councealing, visits, parent class, nothing eals. i went to al school fuctions now i can not. b4 my children wear removed all honner roll and my now12yr old PRIVET in new york state nasinal gurds youth core. pleace write any one who can help. my name is wendy write me at iamherewithyou@yahoo.com let make change happen for the sack of the children | YES most DEFENTLY |
