Pressure the UN to Save Child Soldiers Now!

There are 250,000 child soldiers worldwide. That is 250,000 children who are denied a childhood; 250,000 children who are forced to fight other children with massively destructive weapons; 250,000 children who have had their innocence stolen.

Efforts to end this practice are underway but more must be done to save these children from a life of death and violence. There must be tighter political sanctions on those countries that have already been blacklisted for offenses regarding child soldiers. The legislation that is currently in place is too convoluted and must be made more efficient.

The UN is moving in the right direction but they need a big push! Urge the UN to change this complicated process and accelerate the fight to save child soldiers!
Dear members of the United Nations,

The child soldier problem is very troubling. No child should be forced into dealing with death and suffering. A child's concerns should revolve around making friends, and going to school, not learning how to work a machine gun.

Although some efforts are being put forth to eradicate this problem, we know you can do more. The current process is too complicated and inefficient to create any kind of change. Political sanctions against blacklisted countries must be tightened in order to ensure a swift and efficient process.

These children need our help, so I urge you to make severe changes in the current legislation concerning child soldier and blacklists. The time is now!
