President Obama said it best in his State of the Union: "No challenge poses a greater threat to future generations than climate change." We need bold action now to protect our planet from the looming disaster of climate change.
But Congress continues to drag its feet on doing the serious work we need. This has to stop: We can't afford any more delays on addressing the dangers of climate change.
The Environmental Protection Agency has proposed a common-sense plan to cut carbon pollution from power plants. That plan will be coming up for public comment soon, and it needs as much support as possible.
Last year was the warmest year on record—and 14 of the 15 warmest years have happened since 2000. Taking steps to protect our environment isn't just necessary, it's long overdue.
