McDonald's isn't lovin' free choice for its employees. The fast food giant is reportedly organizing its restaurant owners to oppose the Employee Free Choice Act.
McDonald's has more than 600,000 employees in the U.S., many of whom earn less than $10 per hour. But last year its CEO took home more than $13 million. Now McDonald's leadership is actively organizing to prevent its employees from standing up for themselves at work.
Sign the petition to McDonald's headquarters and say employees need the Employee Free Choice Act!

It doesn't surprise me that a company that has made billions from an idea stolen from an employee - namely the rings used to make round eggs for egg mcmuffins - would seek to prevent the employees from seeking to improve their status. I am boycotting McD for the future, and making sure my friends and family hear about this too.

Once again the top tries to squash the worker. It can't continue.

I am so tired of hearing of this manner of treatment for employees. I know what it is to work fast food. I currently hold a minimum wage job, and like McDonald's, my corporate leaders seem to think they are much more important than the people who actually run the show. I had thought McDonald's was a decent place to work. The CEO has no business making that much money if his employess can't make their rent payments. Hearing these numbers, and that you oppose the Employee Free Choice Act, for me, means finding another place to have lunch and also telling everyone I know not to eat there. Not that it will make any difference. McDonald's is just like every other big corporation out there. Absolute uncaring towards everyone and everything as long as the money keeps rolling in.
