Ask Benihana to Protect Women & Children from Mercury in Seafood

Tell Benihana that ALL women and children deserve the right to know and that toxic swordfish should not be sold

Benihana posts mercury-in-seafood advisory signs in its California restaurants, but refuses to post signs at all its restaurants. Please ask Benihana to stop serving swordfish and to educate customers about mercury in tuna, swordfish, and other seafood.

Background
GotMercury.Org has tested tuna from Benihana's sushi menus at locations across the country. Many tuna sushi samples were unsafe for women and children to eat according to federal standards.  Some were unsafe for anyone to eat.  Benihana also serves swordfish, which frequently exceeds the federal safety limits for mercury and should never be eaten by women or children.

Dear Mr. Schwartz:

Please protect women and children from mecury in seafood.

Please post mercury advisories for all your customers, not just Californians.  Women and children deserve the right to know everywhere about the risks of mercury in seafood.  Please stop serving swordfish, which women and children should never eat because of high levels of mercury.
