There are people in every community who need nourishing meals. And there's always extra food at institutional cafeterias. Why don't we use this food for good?
The Campus Kitchens Project fuels Student-Powered Hunger Relief by merging the hunger and nutritional needs of communities with the existing resources at universities to help fight hunger in the United States.
Each year, thousands of pounds of food go to waste in university cafeterias. But today students at 25 universities recycle this food and deliver nutritious meals to children and families who would otherwise go hungry.
We can use food as a tool to strengthen a community. Campus Kitchens Project connects students with people in their greater community and helps budding volunteers and activists take action by giving them the chance to lead their university in the fight against hunger in America.
Support college students feeding hungry families and making a difference in their communities.
