4 dogs baited to swallow razor blades

Hively allegedly baited his neighbors four dogs to swallow razorblades on June 9, according to a criminal complaint filed in Kanawha County Magistrate Court. We respectfully petition that he serve the longest jail time, undergo mandatory psychological testing and counseling and not be able to have the privilege of having animal companions.
John F. Hively, 43, is charged with four counts of felony animal cruelty. John F. Hively allegedly baited his neighbors four dogs to swallow razorblades on June 9, according to a criminal complaint filed in Kanawha County Magistrate Court.
Hivelys neighbor let his dogs in the house, but noticed they were
bleeding from their mouths. When the neighbor checked around the fence,
he found 25 razor blades, some with meat on them, the complaint stated.
All
four dogs had cuts in their mouths, and an X-ray revealed that one dog
had a razorblade in its stomach, the complaint stated.
Deputies
allegedly found razorblades with meat on them and rubber gloves with
meat on them in Hivelys trash, the complaint stated.
