They think the children will be 'brainwashed' then what about these christians?'Do a sin and you go to hell'? Please dont tell me they never ever lied in their entire life, because thats just a lie right there. Saying if i did have a child,I would be like,"Touch my child and I might hex you!" Haha, just kidding. Maybe I would tell them,'What would jesus do?' Or,'Taking children from their parents is a sin!' And they might run off instantly.. Muwahaha.

2,752 2:11 pm PDT, Apr 2   Victoria Alexander California United States I don't have children, but I know a lot of wiccan families. They are the happiest and most peaceful families I've ever met. The children are in NO danger. They are healthy, happy and well adjusted as every child should be. This is RIDICULOUS!

2,750 11:31 am PDT, Apr 2 Ms. Anonymous Pennsylvania United States I have 4 children under age 16 This whole movement violates my First Amendment right, remember? The First Amendment of the United States Constitution protects the right to freedom of religion and freedom of expression from government interference. Blessed are the witches!
2,749 11:10 am PDT, Apr 2   Gabriela Giresi New York United States I do not have any children but I have wiccan friends that do. These children are not abused, nor are they neglected in any way. It makes me sick how in the USA so many children are being gven to foster parents that neglect, verbally, sexually, and physically abuse innocent children for a check from the government and taken away from good Wiccan families that teach Morals, Values, and to Respect all and Judge none. You people make me sick first you take God out of our school and then when we decide to teach our kids about God in our own way you try take our kids out of our home. Freedom of religion!!!! Did uyou forget this is America! And Freddom of Sppec, you can not steal our children, and break the ammendments at the same time. It makes me sad to say am am American. Why don't you go after children of Drugdealers? Instead ogf going after the real dangerouse people you go after the people that have been abused for centuries, please learn your facts.
2,748 10:02 am PDT, Apr 2 Mrs. Jamie Stafford Illinois United States I have a 12 year old daughter! She is and has been raised Wiccan!!! She is a good student, artistic and a joy!!!

2,742 1:40 pm PDT, Mar 11 Mrs. Anonymous North Carolina United States
2,741 7:50 am PDT, Mar 11 Ms. Dragona Ravencroft Michigan United States My 7 yr old daughter is being raised by a Christian father and me, a pagan mother. She will be a better citizen for learning that you should learn from and respect those that are different from you rather than fear and hate them. She could be a Christian like her father or follow my path as a witch, i do not care. Whatever makes her happy. She will be a better person for being exposed to both religions. My child is not in danger. I do not let her attend coven with me on school nights and will not until she's much older and maybe not even then. It is a right of my religious freedom to teach my child what i will so long as it does not cause her physical or psychological harm. Leave us to our religious freedom and worry more about the economy and see if you can fix it in time for my child to be able to have a part time job while attending university when i can't and will be attending community college. Please, let us raise our children and if you Christian want to complain about something ask yourselves why a five yr old girl was sipping wine at church every Sunday. That's right folks i was raised Christian and i want my child to know there is more than that singular, self rightous fluff out there.
2,740 6:10 am PDT, Mar 11 Mrs. Anonymous Nevada United States
2,739 8:33 pm PDT, Mar 10 Ms. LaNita Pemberton Nevada United States I have 9 nephews and nieces. An adults' choice of which faith to follow should not be considered as judgement on how to raise their child.
2,738 5:07 pm PDT, Mar 8 Ms. Kirsten Gestvang Oregon United States Expecting. If anyone dared to touch my baby girl because I taught her the ways of the Goddesses and Gods instead a singular God, not only would they lose an American citizen, but they would be taking away a constitutional right!
2,737 3:42 pm PST, Jan 31 Ms. Sara Goessel Illinois United States
2,736 3:47 pm PST, Jan 16 Ms. Sarah Fyfe Massachusetts United States I have no children. im only 15 i have no children but i i am wiccan and my family are Christian and they are not very supportive of that and think that my parents should punish me for believing in something different. Im different! i have a right to be theres nothing wrong with it!
2,735 2:00 pm PST, Jan 4   Danielle Hazelgreen Kentucky United States   I think this is a disgrace to the American dream.
2,734 10:34 am PST, Jan 4   Iris chausse Connecticut United States
2,733 9:53 am PST, Jan 4   Janet I. Moore Virginia United States I have two boys. They are my life. I expose my children to alot of different religions. Islam,Methodist,Baptist,Mormans, and Wicca. Religion is my childrens choice of what they choose to believe.
2,732 8:06 am PST, Jan 4 Mrs. Anonymous Georgia United States I have 3 boys and they are my life!I cant imagine anyone taking my boys over something that everyone has a right too!Freedom of religion! they have no right to my children and no,they cant have them
2,731 3:47 am PST, Jan 2 Ms. Anonymous Utah United States My children are 3 1/2 yrs and 5mos, and I have every intention of teaching them what I believe. I will also teach about other religions, just the way I was taught as a child. The Constitution of the United States protects religious freedom. It does NOT specify that only "mainstream" religions are protected. Forbidding a parent from teaching his/her child about religion goes against the Constitution. If I were ever in the situation of potentially losing my child due to religion, I would take the fight all the way to the top. It is unacceptable to take a child out of a loving and safe environment based on a fear and ignorance of the unknown. The only reason a child should be removed from their home is in the event it is unsafe, unhealthy, or the parents choose to relinquish their parental rights in order to better care for that child.

2,725 5:48 am PST, Dec 15 Mrs. Anonymous New York United States   Taking someones child based on religion unless it is physically or mentally abusing your child is absolutley wrong, i dont see them taking children away from christian parents now do we and yet the christian religion has had cults that have commited mass suicide, such as Jonestown where they forced young babies to ingest poison in order to kill them, i mean young children and babies, and yet they want to critisize and hunt us like we are dogs, they need to take a look at their own religions track record before judging others, not to mention Wicca and witchcraft is a legal and recognized religion and demands respect thereof

2,720 12:07 pm PDT, Oct 26 Mrs. Marina Bobrovnik Florida United States I have 5 children, they love Wicca - Nature based religion!! Religion that doesn't claim to be the only one and true way to the Divine. Religion that doesn't seek followers to take advantage of and to empty their pockets..And no war was ever fought in the name of Wicca!!! Freedom of Religion means ANY religion!! Politics and Religion should stay separate, unless we want to go back to Dark Ages when people got burn at the stake!! Keep your hands of our kids, let us practice whatever we want!!!

2,708 9:32 pm PDT, Aug 21   Jennifer Streeter Arizona United States
2,707 2:25 am PDT, Aug 19 Mrs. Kris Ares California United States My son is a beautiful little boy who has every right in the world to choose for himself what religion he wants to follow. My family came here to escape religious persecution from the Nazi regime. It is part of our legal rights as citizens of the United States of America to practice what ever religion we so choose and to raise our children in that religion. As of 1972 Wicca was recognized as a true religion by congress. Just because not all Pagans are Wicca does not mean that their religions are not also just as real and true. You would not take a child away from a Hindu family, so why target a Pagan one. If anyone tried so much as to touch my son and take him from me I would make sure their lives were hell. By removing children from Pagan homes you are violating the Constitution of the United States of America and the Right to Religion that all Americans are given BY LAW!
2,706 6:44 am PDT, Aug 17 Ms. Alisha McConnell Indiana United States My Children both love being Pagan and as Americans they should have a RIGHT to practice what they wish We are considering moving out of country to a better Religious Freedom environment! I will hurt anyone that comes in and tries anything with my kids I thought we have FREEDOM OF RELIGION so you do your part and uphold that part of the LAW which makes America the way it is You don't want to be like the Rouge countries that acts this way do You?

Stop taking children away from Pagan, Wiccan, Occult or of a magickal tradition, Families

Around the nation, Pagans, Wiccans, Occultists, and Magick users of all types are having their children taken from them. Court orders issued to "protect children form heathen beliefs", I Rev. Toby Nixon am personally upset about it, and I feel that if you have one ounce of concern for the welfare and the ability to teach your children, (or other peoples children) the religion or spirituality that you deem suitable.

Cale J. Bradford, a Indiana judge gave an
unusual order that prohibits him and his ex-wife from exposing their child to "non-mainstream religious beliefs and rituals."

I am just about ready to go to war over this myself, I am a Pantheist Pagan Norse Traditionalist, and I have a son, And buddy that judge had better watch out, if he tried to order me not to teach my son the ways of my people.

So sign this petition, to the Minority leader of Congress, and tell her that you want Judges that act against the freedoms included in the constitution, disbarred for betraying their oath as a judge. By signing this petition you are telling them that you want justice for these people and realized equal rights for Pagans, Wiccans, Occultists, and others that practice Magick, other wise you as a voter wont vote for them.

A judges duty is to defend the freedoms of this country, not stomp all over them.

My suggestion to you is you call your state representatives, senators, and State Legislation, and tell them you don't  want to hear of this ever again!
