Washington has a legacy of environmental leadership, it's part of what makes our state so unique. But candidate for Governor Bill Bryant doesn't share those same values. He just gave a speech in Cle Elum where Bryant declared he would put a freeze on all state rule-making and "unnecessary rules" would be eliminated if he's elected Governor in November.
A Seattle Times article on the speech points out this could halt landmark clean-air protections, municipal water pollution standards, and comes at a dangerous crossroads; when communities across Washington are demanding more protections from explosive oil trains rolling through their communities.
The oil industry and major polluters are banking that you won't notice his dangerous ideas for our state. Bill Bryant needs to know Washingtonians don't stand with his attacks on our health and safety. Sign this petition to tell him you stand for Washington's environment.
