Save Greater Yellowstone Wolves

Target: Interior Secretary Ken Salazar
Sponsored by: Defenders of Wildlife Action Fund
Entire wolf packs in the Greater Yellowstone and northern Rockies region are being stalked and killed. More than 60 wolves have already been killed in the Greater Yellowstone and northern Rockies region since wolf hunts began in Idaho and Montana.

Please sign our petition to Interior Secretary Ken Salazar, urging him to withdraw his flawed delisting rule that prematurely removed vital protections for wolves in the northern Rockies region -- before a lasting wolf recovery slips from our grasp.

Subject: Withdraw the Flawed Wolf Delisting Rule

Dear Secretary Salazar,

As someone who is deeply concerned at seeing wolves and entire wolf packs killed in the northern Rockies region, I urge you to take immediate action to withdraw the flawed wolf delisting rule and develop a science-based plan to ensure the long-term conservation of the gray wolf.

The Bush administration plan that you approved was legally misguided and scientifically flawed. Just last month, a federal judge ruled that the wolf delisting was almost certainly illegal under the Endangered Species Act and that Defenders of Wildlife and its allies will likely prevail in their legal challenge to wolf delisting.

We can't stand by while wolf recovery -- one of the greatest wildlife conservation success stories in the last century -- slips away due to a policy error.

I urge you to take immediate action to withdraw the delisting and correct its flaws in order to provide a lasting future for wolves in Greater Yellowstone and the northern Rockies.

Dear Mr. Salazer, Please, please, please stop this cruel and barbaric practice of killing our beautiful wolves. It is totally unacceptable in a civalized society. Please overturn this horrible decision and save these wonderful animals. Thank you so much, Sandy Moore

Thousands of U.S. citizens spend many thousands of dollars and hours helping to establish more healthy ecosystems. Now, we cannot let uneducated killers destroy all that work just when research is proving the long-range (and sometimes surprising) effects in providing more healthy ecosystems.

It is an unkindness to Mother Nature to wipe out this beautiful species. That is what we may face without this delisting.

Those who wish to slaughter off any wildlife have no heart for life. Unfortunetaly we also have those in our political empire that also only care for the power of money and statue. So between the two we will always have issue's with wildlife being killed off for the sake of greed and power. We need real people in our political arena that will be there for the people as well as for our natural wildlife. May god bless those who stand for the natural behavier of our wild kingdom.
