Say No To Karl Rove
On Monday, June 12, White House Deputy Chief of Staff Karl Rove is scheduled to be the guest of honor at a fundraiser for the New Hampshire Republican State Committee. This is the same Karl Rove who revealed Valerie Plame's role as an agent of the Central Intelligence Agency as a means of punishing her husband, Ambassador Joseph Wilson, a vocal critic of the Bush Administration's Iraq policies.
Please tell Chairman Semprini that you oppose his decision to honor a man facing a federal criminal probe.
Dear Chairman Semprini:
Karl Rove has released classified intelligence in order to punish critics of the Bush Administration.
A man who places partisanship ahead of national security does not deserve to be honored by any respectable political party.
Please do the right thing and disinvite Karl Rove.
