AIG should be gone now. They have had too many chances to correct their mistakes, and they have miserably failed each and every time. We the public, do not believe any government officials who try to tell us that this company is good for the American people. It's not. And we know better... It's time to clean up the crap and focus our efforts on the entities and industries that are actually making an effort to change our country/world for the better. AIG should be the first to go.

AIG should not be allowed to exist. It should be broken up into entities which are regulated so as to cause no more damage. The parts should be sold off in a way that most benefits the American people. In no way should any of the original management be allowed to continue. If they knew what was happening - they are criminals, and should be prosecuted. If they did not know what was happening - they are incompetent and should be fired. We need legislation and regulation to control the greed. As for AIG - if it's too big to be allowed to fail then it's too big to to exist! Rename: AAG (Americans Against Greed).
